About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Information Security Analyst
In this role, you will:
- Provide information security consultation to improve awareness and compliance with Enterprise Information Security policy, processes and standards
- Perform remediation of security assessment review issues, complex ad hoc data, and reporting to support information security risk management
- Provide guidance and direction in reviewing assessment findings and mitigating controls to optimize information security
- Identify and direct information asset portfolio reconciliations and certifications
- Provide advanced data aggregation and data of information security risk exposure
- Develop and deliver Information Security Education Awareness and Training in accordance with the Enterprise Information Security Program standards
- Review draft and proposed control standards for business impact and recommend modifications or clarifications as required
- Conduct security control testing and consultation with stakeholders
- Evaluate and interpret internal and Enterprise Information Security policies, processes and standards, and provide recommendations to improve them
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Interact with internal customers
- Serve as a mentor to less experienced staff
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Information Security Analysis experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Desired Qualifications:
- Job location: Bangalore or Hyderabad
- 8+ years of Information Security Analysis experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education - Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in engineering or computer Science or Information Systems.
- Assessment experience (CRI, NIST, FedLine, Swift, GLBA)
- Framework experience (CRI, COBIT, NIST, ITIL)
- Control mapping and/or issue mapping – Analysis at large corporation of issue alignment or Control/Policy alignment to assessment or framework.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences and the ability to achieve results through prolific communication skills.
- Project/Product management and/or coordination in Cybersecurity or Info Security.
- Auditing or independent review experience.
- Excellent problem solving, research, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work with complex teams; have global experience, specifically US banks.
- Comfortable with making and presenting recommendations to a wide audience of stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of information security practices and policies, including Information Security Frameworks, Standards, and best practices.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical skills.
Job Expectations:
- Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for deficiencies identified in maturity across Cybersecurity and technology.
- Gather, review, and analyze policies, controls, metrics, procedures related to CRI statements.
- Participate in annual maturity assessment activities across multiple workstreams including:
- Front Line Maturity Assessment
- Control Inventory Optimization
- Issues management alignment
- Metrics and Reporting Enhancements
- Remediation activities
- CRI Program and Strategy
- Strategically collaborate and consult with SMEs identified for CRI areas and senior leadership
- Ability to communicate with Director and executive partners.
