In this role, you will:

  • Lead computer security incident response activities for highly complex events

  • Conduct technical investigation of security related incidents and post incident digital forensics to identify causes and recommend future mitigation strategies

  • Provide security consulting on large projects for internal clients to ensure conformity with corporate information, security policy, and standards

  • Design, document, test, maintain, and provide issue resolution recommendations for highly complex security solutions related to networking, cryptography, cloud, authentication and directory services, email, internet, applications, and endpoint security

  • Review and correlate security logs

  • Utilize subject matter knowledge in industry leading security solutions and best practices to implement one or more components of information security such as availability, integrity, confidentiality, risk management, threat identification, modeling, monitoring, incident response, access management, and business continuity

  • Identify security vulnerabilities and issues, perform risk assessments, and evaluate remediation alternatives

  • Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including managers

  • Lead a team to achieve objectives


Required Qualifications, US:

  • 5+ years of information security applications and systems experience

  • 5+ years of experience in network security infrastructure (includes firewall, intrusion detection, and cyber threat)

  • 5+ years of experience in network infrastructure [includes routers, switches, internet protocols (IP), and virtual local area networks (VLAN)]

  • 5+ years of technical documentation experience

  • 3+ years of experience with SASE technologies (including cloud proxy and secure remote access)

  • 3+ years of experience with automating processes and administrative tasks

  • 5+ year of experience with virtualized environments [includes VMware, ESXI, virtual desktop, SAN and NAS storage] 

  • 3+ year of experience with cloud environments [includes public, private, and hybrid cloud: cloud security concepts: containerizations and Kubernetes]


Desired Qualifications:

  •  Experience designing and/or managing IP Endpoint Discovery tools, Authentication Manager, Cybereason

  • Experience designing and managing/or WebAppSecurity (DDoS, WAF Policy), AAA (802.1x, TACACS, Access Segmentation)

  • Ability to identify and manage complex issues and negotiate solutions within a geographically dispersed organization

  • Experience in Kanban or Scrum Agile environments

  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of an organization, including at the executive level

  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of information security practices and policies, including Information Security Frameworks, Standards, and best practices (Seems duplicated with next item, however, if needed let’s go with extensive. Expert level would be more under the risk management or architecture side of the house)

  • Experience with information security and risk management including policy and standards, information security assessment, security best practices, and mitigation solution design and implementation

  • Strategic planning experience in translating leadership vision into executable strategies and initiatives

  • Financial services experience
