About this role:

The Credit Administration team under MCRM is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join the Limits Exceptions and Grades Management (LEGM) team responsible for managing counterparty credit limits, grades and limits exception and escalation processes for counterparty risk.  Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

In this role, you will:

  • Perform business as usual (BAU) activities such as limits/grades updates, limits/grades exception management, data integrity checks, metrics generation and other ad-hoc requests

  • Represent Credit Administration team to drive key initiatives, such as the FAF Sunset initiative (data feed automation), partner with the Change Management Team, Governance Team, Oversight Team, Desk Risk Officers, Risk Architecture Team, Front Line and various Line of Business underwriting teams and other groups related to limits and exceptions

  • Perform daily BAU oversight responsibilities, including coverage assignments, end of day checks and daily escalations of violations and exceptions to senior management

  • Identifying root causes and articulate problems to senior stakeholders in a clear and concise manner

  • Identify and implement improvements to BAU processes, identify and execute on automation of control processes, perform quality assurance and quality control routines and perform reporting of risk and control metrics

Required Qualifications, US:

  • 2+ years of market risk, Capital Markets, desk analyst, trading, interest rate risk or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Capital Markets, or Business Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

  • Experience using data analysis to identify trends

  • Knowledge and understanding of project and process management

  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills required to identify root causes, define patterns and collaborate with stakeholders to design sustainable and logical production processes for the Credit Administration team

  • Ability to articulate and document complex concepts in a clear, concise manner

  • Intellectual curiosity with proven ability to learn quickly through others as well as to conduct their own research and analysis

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, graphs, and formulas

  • Advanced SQL skills – experience with understanding and editing existing SQL queries

  • Good Microsoft Visio skills to document process flows

  • Tableau experience
