In this role, you will:

  • Work as part of Corporate Function BDL team to support domain teams with the execution work efforts that deliver required application data dictionaries and data quality assessments in support of Enterprise Data Governance Policy and Privacy Policy compliance requirements.  
  • Dedicated Analysts will be assigned to each domain to gain relevant subject matter expertise that will help with successful execution of work efforts. The Analyst will support the work efforts and delivery team with the following responsibilities.
  • Provide direction, clarity and guidance on policy, process and template usage
  • Support Application Business Data Owners with analysis of artifacts that helps identify template contents
  • Provide guidance on identification of core data elements including System Of Record (SOR) designation and assignment of business criticality
  • Work with application and technology managers to complete their assigned application artifacts for the assigned Applications/Use Initiatives.
  • This position will be responsible for finding solutions, doing moderate to complex analysis and design work as well as daily administrative tasks, working with others across bank, which could include external vendors and consultants, junior personnel, etc, to move analysis and projects to successful delivery.
  • Managing adherence to, and reporting status of process implementation milestones, escalating roadblocks as necessary
  • Participate in and author communications and training around processes, to ensure and reinforce stakeholder understanding

Required Qualifications, International:

  • University degree in Business or related discipline.
  • Proficient in Requirements gathering and working with multiple data owners.
  • 7+ years of experience in Information Technology and Data Management
  • 4+ years of experience with Metadata/Data dictionaries management including technical/business content and data lineage.
  • 4+ years of experience with Data Quality Assessment
  • SQL skills- queries, joins, data modelling, relational concepts
  • Experience working with technology teams, with a focus on metadata, data quality monitoring, domain management, and master / reference data management.
  • Quick learner with excellent communication skills, team orientation, and ability to work with counterparts in different areas of organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement initiatives in line with program roadmap objectives
  • Proven experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with business and technical subject matter experts on system implementations
  • Ability to interact with Teams and handle assigned work with less support.
  • Experience working on reports, SharePoint, Tableau and JIRA.
  • Strong communication written and oral and is not shy to speak out
  • Presentation skills (PPTs or flow charts and Documentation)
  • Hands on person and eager to learn new process and areas

  • Lead complex enterprise-wide programs and collaborates on strategic initiatives for data governance, data quality and metadata activities.
  • May act as a relationship manager for a line of business.
  • May design and deliver database architecture / design services, providing sizing and configuration

assistance, performing needs assessments, database definition & structure, documentation, long-range requirements, and operational guidelines.
