The Enterprise Functions Technology (EFT) group provides technology solutions and support for Risk, Audit, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Corporate Properties, and Stakeholder Relations business lines. In addition, EFT provides unique technology solutions and innovation for Wells Fargo Technology, Enterprise Shared Services, and Enterprise Data Management. This combined portfolio of applications and tools are continually engineered to meet the challenges of stability, security, scalability, and speed.

Compliance, Legal, Audit & Regulatory Technology (CLAR) provides technology support and development for Legal & Data Controls, Compliance Risk & Audit, Financial Crimes, Front Office and Second Line Risk, Employee Compliance, Regulator Regulations, Market Surveillance, and Regulator Change Management.

The Employee Compliance Technology team is seeking a junior UI/UX Engineering Associate with exposure to and a passion for application User Experience. We have an exciting new project to re-imagine and replace systems that are 10-20 years old with a modern, intuitive, mobile accessible interface. A successful candidate will be able to demonstrate design skills and articulate their creative process.

In this role, you will:

  • Receive direction from a Lead designer in developing standard best practices for UI/UX tools, solutions, and technologies.
  • Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
  • Design graphic user interface elements
  • Develop UI mockups and prototyping
  • Influence and assist multiple Agile teams to meet deliverables and drive design initiatives.
  • Prepare and present wireframes to internal teams and key stakeholders
  • Identify, troubleshoot and provide feedback for UX issues for mobile and responsive layouts
  • Capture and prepare UI adjustments based on user feedback
  • Adhere to style design standards on fonts, colors and images
  • Note: While software development and coding background may be advantageous, this is not a coding position.

Required Qualifications, US:

  • 6+ months of Technology Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • UI (User Interface) and UX (User Experience) experience
  • Web design and development experience
  • Experience developing mockups, presentations and use cases to illustrate system requirements

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadline
  • Knowledge of widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games
  • Experience working with Agile teams and with one or more Agile tools used for tracking user stories or backlogs, such as Confluence or Jira
  • End-to-end design UI / UX experience including wireframes, prototypes and specifications documents
  • Knowledge and understanding of mobile UI design systems and technologies for smart phones and tablets
  • Software experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Invision, Sketch or similar products
  • Knowledge of content libraries and branding systems
  • Mobile responsive layout experience
  • Familiarity with American Disability Act (ADA) requirements and specifications
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT) experience

Pay Range

$27.74 - $49.38 Hourly
