The Enterprise Functions Technology (EFT) group provides technology solutions and support for Risk, Audit, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Corporate Properties, and Stakeholder Relations business lines. In addition, EFT provides unique technology solutions and innovation for Wells Fargo Technology, Enterprise Shared Services, and Enterprise Data Management. This combined portfolio of applications and tools are continually engineered to meet the challenges of stability, security, scalability, and speed.

Corporate Risk Technology helps all Wells Fargo businesses identify and manage risk. We help our management and Board of Directors identify and monitor risks that may affect multiple lines of business and take appropriate action when business activities exceed the risk tolerance of the company.  As part of this we are transforming Risk functions through the use of Technology.  We build out a common set of tools that risk managers in first and second lines of defense, as well as business teams, can use to transform risk management. 

We are seeking a Corporate Risk Portfolio Management Lead (Lead Technology Business Systems Consultant) who will be a driver and change agent of the operationalization of the financial and portfolio management, partnering with CIO and business partner organizations, inclusive of operating models (products / customer journeys). This is a highly leveraged position which will be accountable for delivering strategic priorities within risk technology.


In this role, you will:

  • Lead complex data initiatives providing analytical and reporting solutions for cross functional businesses and technology teams
  • Work with platform engineers to design and implement data integrations from multiple technology solutions
  • Develop a data framework and methodology for entire team
  • Maintain a data warehouse and analytics environments
  • Manage enhancements and business requirements to data pipelines and reports
  • Develop end-to-end Power BI Reporting and maintain visualizations that provide strategic business solutions to companywide technology initiatives.
  • Define and lead detailed research on business and technology data requests to develop efficient and accurate functional requirements
  • Evaluate highly complex business problems and provide data subject matter knowledge proficiency for technology initiatives
  • Lead project or visualization documentation, and monitor and manage project schedules and deliverables
  • Collaborate and consult with business and technology teams to provide comprehensive technological solutions for complex business problems


Required Qualifications, US:

  • 5+ years of Business Systems Data experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 4+ years of program and/or portfolio management experience and/or direct leadership of complex transformational programs/projects
  • 4+ years of financial management, budgeting experience, and complex planning experience.
  • 4+ years experience with Microsoft Excel
  • 2+ years of experience leading projects pertaining to building complex financial and workforce management reports
  • 2+ years of experience building mockups for creating new dashboards using PowerBI based on inputs received from portfolio leads / leaders


Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience managing large technology development efforts within a major line of business
  • Ability to influence across all organizational levels, particularly senior management
  • Ability to be proactive, innovative, and creative in meeting customer and enterprise needs
  • Knowledge and understanding of system application development including large scale applications
  • Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • A BS/BA degree or higher in science or technology
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization from developers to CIOs
  • Ability to influence leaders with insight based on these reports in making financial decisions for their portfolio
