About this role:  

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Information Security Engineer with the Network Security Authentication team providing authentication, authorization, and accounting services through TACACS+, RADIUS, and 802.1X. This team is responsible for the development, certification, deployment, and maintenance required to provide these services. 

In this role, you will:  

  • Be responsible for planning, designing, developing, and implementing automated solutions in support of the Cisco Identity Services Engine product.

  • Work with colleagues to identify and develop automation solutions for routine tasks.

  • Conduct technical investigation of security related incidents and post incidents digital forensics to identify causes and recommend future mitigation strategies.

  • Provide security consulting for internal clients to ensure conformity with corporate and team-level information, security policy, and standards.

  • Design, document, test, maintain, and provide issue resolution recommendations for moderately complex security solutions related to networking, cryptography, cloud, authentication and directory services, email, internet, applications, and endpoint security

  • Review and correlate security logs.

  • Identify security vulnerabilities and issues, perform risk assessments, and evaluate remediation alternatives.

  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.

Required Qualifications:  

  • 4+ years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education 

  • 3+ years of network experience 

  • Ability to break down complex concepts and present them in a clean and concise way 

  • Proven ability to create automated solutions leveraging Infrastructure as Code tooling such as Ansible 

  • Proven ability to understand and codify a manual process into an automated process using workflow-like concepts 

  • Experience working in an Agile environment as a delivery team member

  • Experience with GitHub, Ansible automation and orchestration (or similar tools including Chef or Puppet), Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)

Desired Qualifications:  

  • 1 + years of experience in technical deployment, configuration, integration, and administration of at least one of the following network security technologies: 802.11 wireless authentication, AAA, TACACS, RADIUS, or 802.1x Network Admission Control (NAC)

  • Experience with SIEM platforms such as Splunk/Google Cloud

  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Cisco Certified Network Administrator Security (CCNA)
