Senior Full Stack .Net Engineer

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a MS .NET Sr Developer within the Enterprise Functions Technology (EFT) team - the Global Sanctions Management Operations System (GSMOS).  This team focuses on providing the ability to screen and block transactions containing an individual, organization or jurisdiction appearing on any selected regulatory watch list.

The selected candidate will be experienced in application development and maintenance, and technology strategy. Candidate will strive to provide creative or innovative, yet practical solutions to the organization


In this role, you will:

This role will support development and support projects and responsible for:

1. Application Design

  • Participates in application design by providing feedback and guidance on available technology options to business problems specific to sanctions screening. 
  • Participates in SCRUM for development effort, departmental technical procedures and user guides. 
  • Analyzes requirements specific to the technical needs of the highly available, high volume, real time transactional processing system.
  • Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area 
  • Improve and Support application business resiliency plan. 

2. Development and testing

  • Develop simple technology solutions for complex business requirements.  
  • Provides coding direction to less experienced staff.
  • Verifies program logic by developing automated unit test coverage. Participates in code and security peer reviews.
  • Support quality assurance.

3. Deployment

  • Oversees overall systems testing and the migration of platforms and applications to production.  

4. Other requirements

  • Participates in process refinement for the entire software development life cycle. 
  • Assures quality, security and Technology compliance requirements are met. 

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 4+ years of C#.NET experience
  • 4 + years of VB.net experience, C# experience, or a combination of both
  • 4 + years of experience supporting .NET applications
  • 4+ years of MS SQL server experience
  • 4+ years of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) experience
  • 3+ years of .NET Core experience
  • 2+ years of experience with Agile in a development environment


Desired Qualifications:

  • A BS/BA degree or higher in information technology
  • 4+ years of MVC (Model-View-Controller) Framework experience
  • 3+ years of GitHub experience
  • 2 + years of experience in one or a combination of the following Enterprise Pipeline Tools: uDeploy (Urbancode Deploy), TFS (Team Foundation Server) GIT, Sonar, Blackduck
  • 1+ year of Azure Cloud experience
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to communicate ideas to all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to apply core development principles, practices, and procedures to multiple applications
