About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Process Engineering Manager to join our Global Business Process Management team supporting our Wealth and Investment Management line of business.
In this role, you will:
- Manage a team focused on process engineering initiatives, including building process sets and models
- Evaluate work to determine gaps, risks, and opportunities in order to prioritize design efforts and achieve maximum efficiency
- Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development
- Provide clear and concise direction and training
- Make decisions and resolve issues to meet business objectives
- Interpret policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managers
- Lead team to achieve objectives
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Process Engineering
- Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Process Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 2+ years of Leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:
- 14-16 years of total work experience with atleast 7 years' experience in Process Engineering with background in transformation initiatives including Intelligent Automation.
- 4-6 years of leadership or managerial experience.
- Lean/Six Sigma certifications like - Master Black Belt (Lean, DMAIC, DMADV). Excellent exposure to Business Excellence Frameworks, Change Management, Business Process Management platforms, Statistical Analysis tools.

- Accountable for the management of individuals and matrixed teams focused on process engineering initiatives, including building process sets and models.

- Plan both short and long term operational / business excellence goals, define work objectives and manages conflicting priorities. Provides alignement to OpEx programs to business strategy
- Lead and provide business process direction as a thought leader for process improvements, MBO, Balanced Scorecards and delivering shareholder value & ensure appropriate application of cultural focus, tools, and/or statistical approach
- Implementation of the systematic improvement framework for improvements and innovation in specific Business area
- Lead the delivery of a business function / functions within EGS / Globally for Operational Excellence. Ensure Systematic improvement impact (Define, develop, modify, adapt an approach and frameworks for building systematic improvement capabilities across WF I &P EGS and Globally) & drive business awareness of quality/process methodology
- Simplify and modernize processes and functions end to end with deep domain understanding on business lines (WHSL/ WIM/ CAP Markets etc.).
- Interpret policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Lead and support Niche and Domain intensive teams leading / participating in improvements / transformations.
- Champion of change for the business leader / function that he or she supports
- Applies comprehensive knowledge of Process Engineering tools and methods to mentor matrixed team members on improvement approach, coupling with the appropriate techniques to educate and inform others
- Coaches multiple redesign teams in LEAN/Six Sigma process and tools
- Assist in creating required work culture and visibility of work for the team to better manage operations
- Seek, share, and institutionalize best practices and promote industry standards and the use of the latest/most effective methodologies for cost measurement and productivity
- Implementation of BU/LOB-wide Improvement Programs
