    Department Overview

    Enterprise Finance drives financial management for the company, maintains, and enhances risk and financial controls. The Controller’s Division is responsible for the accuracy of the Company’s financial statements, establishing corporate accounting policies, preparing SEC and regulatory reports and ensuring the adequacy of internal controls. 
     
    About the Role

    This role is a Cash Securities valuation specialist within the enterprise-wide center of excellence group that will be responsible for ensuring accurate valuations of and performing validation processes across all Credit, Equity, Rates, Munis and loan products
     
     

    Responsibilities

  • Independently perform the valuations and validation processes across all Credit, Rates, Equity, Munis and Loan products.
  • Communicating IPV results to trading desks, product control and other stakeholders through the production of monthly reporting IPV package
  • Develop standard and customized reports, ad hoc analyses and/or data visualizations requiring specialized financial, statistical and quantitative knowledge to make recommendations
  • Identify business requirements and analytical needs pertaining to financial and economic research; identify and recommend potential data sources; compile and mines data from multiple, cross business sources
  • Working on process improvement activities which includes finding solutions for day to day work issues, idea generation and its implementation, process automation, design develop and evolve methodologies to optimize IPV process
  • Use specialized knowledge and data analysis capabilities to translate financial problems and business needs into moderately complex analyses and recommendations
  • Develop standard and customized reports, ad hoc analyses and/or data visualizations requiring specialized financial, statistical and quantitative knowledge to make recommendations
  • To help ensure high quality standards and compliance with the firm’s valuation and validation policies.
  • Modeling knowledge related to a variety of models will be helpful to be effective in this role.
  • Should be able to train and mentor team members.
  • Essential Qualifications  
  • Masters (MBA/M.Tech/M.Sc) in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics or Business
  • 7+ years of experience in one or a combination of IPV of Credit, Equity, Muni, Rates and Loan Products
  • Desired Qualifications  

  • Knowledge of capital markets products- Bonds, Equity, Credit, Rates, and Loan products.
  • Hands on experience on pricing and valuation techniques for Credits, Equities, Rates and Loans. Ability to understand the cash flow, pricing variables and market movements for credit products.
  • Strong project management skills. 
  • Good to have Bloomberg experience.
