CDEP Technology Transformation – Senior Scrum Master

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Scrum Master as part of the Technology Transformation organization within CDEP Technology. The Consumer Data Engagement Platform (CDEP) technology team function is to enable the business with technology solutions that will improve banker productivity and deepen customer relationships. Domain areas include Consumer Data Analytics, Marketing Technology, and Customer Relationship Management.

As a Senior Scrum Master, you will enable and accelerate quality outcomes by assertively and proactively raising issues to influence change. Additionally, you will provide reporting on agile metrics for the product to senior leadership, raising risks and concerns in delivery across the product suite.  Your contributions in this role will be an important element of our agile practice, helping realize our vision to enable and continuously improve our Scrum Master and Kanban Lead community.


In this role, you will:

  • Facilitate the scrum process with cross functional impact that involve moderately complex projects, non projects, or maintenance work
  • Guide the scrum teams to follow Agile and Scrum practices to actively promote prioritization, team readiness, and commitment for each Sprint
  • Optimize scrum team velocity to identify improvement opportunities to achieve higher levels of team performance
  • Deliver capabilities using agile practices while also following the Software Development Lifecycle, business process mapping, and various release processes as appropriate to ensure all risk, security, and development requirements are met
  • Partner with discipline managers about governance policies and adherence to corporate standards
  • Facilitate the Scrum Agile ceremonies for the teams
  • Collaborate with product owners, program or project managers to communicate delivery of work product from the team and escalate key risks and issues impeding scrum team effectiveness
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Interact with internal customers
  • Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements


Required Qualifications, US:

  • 4+ years of Practicing Agile Scrum Master experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ Experience facilitating Scrum Ceremonies (Daily Standup, Sprint Planning backlog refinement and Sprint Retrospective meetings) and/or Kanban
  • 3+ years in building JQL, managing, delivering JIRA boards and dashboards
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence software
  • 3+ years of end-to-end project execution


Desired Qualifications:

  • A BS/BA degree or higher in science or technology
  • Agile certification
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Good problem solving and technical troubleshooting capabilities
  • Ability to work effectively in virtual environment where key team members and partners are in various time zones and locations
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills


 

Pay Range

$96,600.00 - $171,800.00 Annual
