About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Software Engineer for its Fraud Technology organization. In this role, you will work with the Fraud Tech engineering, Artificial Intelligence, and Fraud & Claims business team to build and engineer products, services, and capabilities to better detect and combat fraud. This role is tailored for new college graduates with Computer Science or equivalent degrees.
In this role, you will:

Use Software engineering skills to help build solutions and MLOps related capabilities
-
Use Data Science skills as appropriate to investigate data and build analytics in order to detect and prevent fraud
-
Participate in projects associated with the technology domain, including installation, upgrades, and deployment efforts
-
Review and analyze technical assignments or challenges that are related to low to medium risk deliverables and that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternative technology domains
-
Present recommendations for resolving issues or may escalate issues as needed to meet established service level agreements
-
Collaborate and consult with technology colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders
Required Qualifications, US:
-
Bachelors degree or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related discipline
-
You have expertise in writing clear, performant, and maintainable code in OOPs or functional programming languages
Desired Qualifications:

You have experience with containerization and container orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes

You have experience working with lower level infrastructure and system integration

You have experience working with distributed software, networking, and cloud computing

You have experience working with distributed software

Experience in building resilient and fault-tolerant high throughput APIs

Bash and Linux experience

Experience with CICD pipeline (Jenkins, or equivalent)

Strong background in multi-threading, concurrency, and parallel processing, web services, distributed systems, and scalability challenges
