About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer as part of the Technology team for the Chief Operating Office that will be supporting the Core Engineering and Data team. The Senior Software Engineer should be able to act as a technical expert, analyze business requirements and work collaboratively with other IT team members within the organization.
In this role, you will:
- Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
- Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
- Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
- Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
- Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of Data Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 3+ years of experience in data modelling
- 3+ years of SQL Server experience
- 3+ years of experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) tools
- 3+ years of JIRA experience
- 3+ years of Agile experience
Desired Qualifications:
- ETL (Software agnostic) Experience
- Experience in query and/or SQL tuning
- Autosys experience
- Experience in performing peer SQL code reviews
- CI/CD Tool Experience
- Ability to form a story through data analysis
- Ability to quickly and accurately execute tactical deliverables
- Ability to take initiative, identify opportunities and implement change
- Good analytical and quantitative skills
- Knowledge and understanding of data management concepts, process, tools, and environments
- Knowledge and understanding of operational processes
- Knowledge and understanding of Cloud computing, PaaS design principles and micro services and containers
- Cloud computing experience
Pay Range
$100,800.00 - $179,200.00 AnnualBenefits
