In this role, you will:

  • Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
  • Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
  • Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors
  • Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
  • Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
  • Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor

Essential Qualifications
 

  • B.Tech or equivalent with 12+ years of experience in developing enterprise software solutions, preferably in the Banking and Lending space.
  • 10+ years experience in Java ,J2EE,, Experience on web and UI development experience with Angular, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/JQUERY and AJAX.
  • Hands on Experience of Relational Databases, SQL, designing tables efficiently, write DDL scripts, stored procedures, views, Functions and ORM technologies.
  • Exposure to React, Bootstrap or similar framework strongly preferred.
  • Experience in Responsive Web Design, UI Debugging and Browser Developer Tools.
  • Experience with Node.js is an added advantage.
  • DEVOPS – CI CD pipeline(jenkins, gradle, sonarqube)
  • Hands on experience of Multi-threaded approach and Asynchronous development.
  • Experience in using version control (i.e., GIT and SVN) and Build tools.
  • Strong understanding of the Client - Server Architecture.
  • Good hands on web services, service oriented architecture and messaging concepts is required.
  • PL/SQL, Understanding of Batch Jobs(SSIS), Visio, Gradle and/or Maven, LoadRunner; scripting using VuGen
  •  Ability to Lead team and deliver priorities.
  • Understanding and experience with full software development life cycles -  Agile (Scrum)
  • Expert in Domain Driven Design, BDD, TDD and microservices
  • Good knowledge in cloud platform like Azure, GCP
  • Understanding and experience with full software development life cycles -  Agile (Scrum)
  • Exposure to scaled Agile - ART


Desired Qualifications: 
 

  • Knowledge in Banking mortgage domain
  • Ability to work well in a team and individually.
  • Strong exposure and experience with full software development life cycles - Agile (Scrum and/or Kanban), Waterfall, Iterative Methodologies.
  • Development experience with multi-tier enterprise level applications.
  • Ability to actively and professionally participate in detailed discussions with various levels of management, senior engineering teams and architects.
