Client Insights & Commercial Lending Product Management team enables to centralize key functions across the Commercial Banking reporting landscape to provide consistency and efficiency, control expenses and reduce risk for the organization. The functions include dashboard & report development, automation, production implementation and quality control. Currently, the team is looking to fill Senior Analytic Consultant position to support various reporting projects associated with Wells Fargo Commercial banking across multiple lines of business.

About the Role

The candidate will be part of a dynamic team that provides meaningful impact to the business. This position will support multiple business lines development/enhancement data analysis, validation & reporting to help support across the commercial banking lines of business.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for development, deployment and maintenance of existing and new Dashboards & Reports in various BI platforms in close cooperation with Technology and Data teams as well as interfacing with internal business partners to gather, critically assess, and implement business requirements that cover financial, marketing, and business development activities.

  • Working closely with the US partners on daily basis, interacting closely with multiple business partners anchor program managers.

  • Responsibilities also include, but not limited to: data exploration, validation, structuring, and cleansing; implementing business rules and constraints; creating and maintaining relevant documentation, etc.

  • Participate in business initiatives to enhance process efficiency.

  • Works with typically very large data sets, both structured and unstructured, and from multiple data sources

Essential Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Finance, Computer or Statistics

  • 6-8 years of hands-on experience in data analysis, data visualization, Reporting and Dashboard development, QA & testing,

  • Database tools: Teradata, SQL Server Management Studio, Business Intelligence Development Studio, Oracle.

  • Experience with BI Tools such as Tableau or Power BI and working on end to end reports, whilst deriving insights from data.

  • Strong analytical and technical skills with Python expertise.

  • Experience in problem analysis, solution implementation, and change management.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills

  • Strong understanding of BI tool and reporting concepts (including back-end and in-tool data modeling, front-end development, and necessary documentation) Strong verbal and written communication skills and project management skills

  • Ability to work independently and ensure alignment to overall business goals.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills and demonstrate strong presentation skills.

  • Exceptionally fast learner, able to reach non-trivial SME level under tight deadlines.

  • Ability to manage internal customer expectations while adhering to internal SLA timeframes.

  • Ability to integrate multiple viewpoints and synthesize key messages.

Desired Skills:

  • Financial services experience (Commercial Banking a plus)

  • Understanding Wells Fargo Wholesale products, systems, and platforms
