  • About this role:

    Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Analytics Consultant.


  • In this role, you will:

  • Review and research moderately complex business, operational, and technical challenges that require an in depth evaluation of variable factors 

  • Perform complex data and economic analysis and model development 

  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, external contractors, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

  • Develop and Manage SAS and SQL reporting solutions and delivery

  • Review and interpret ongoing business reporting requirement and build appropriate and useful reporting deliverables

  • Develop procedures and scripts for data migration and reporting.

  • Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in Analytics, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis 

  • 5+ years of reporting experience, analytics experience, or a combination of Analytics, Reporting and ETL 

  • 5+ years of experience in writing complex SQL queries or PROC SQL queries

  • 5+ years of experience in working on querying databases, ETL packages, data reporting.

  • Experience with integrated development environment like oracle SQL Developer, SSMS, and Visual Studio etc.

  • Good to have working knowledge in BI Tools like Tableau, Power BI etc. 

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Job Expectations:

  • Data-driven Insights generation and Root-cause analysis 

  • Reports development and dashboards using the best practices 

  • Have extensive experience in report design and descriptive analysis 

  • Identify gaps in reporting to improve efficiency Responsible for identifying business requirements and translating business needs into moderately complex analyses and projects for the Consumer lending team

  • Performs complex analysis of findings and trends using statistical and/or financial analysis, modeling, process documentation etc. 

  • Recommends solutions to increase revenue, reduce expense, and maximize operational efficiency. s

  • Identifies business requirements and analytical needs; identifies and recommends potential data sources; compiles and mines data from multiple, cross business sources. Responds to requests for specific, customized adhoc analysis 

  • Responsible for consulting with partners to identify and define business requirements and translate business needs into complex analysis 

  • Designs and recommendations.

  • Identifies and recommends internal and external data sources, compiles/mines data from multiple, cross business sources 

  • Ensures adherence to data management/data governance regulations and policies. 

  • Take lead on projects and provide guidance to less experienced team members.
