About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Technology Business Systems Consultant.


In this role, you will:

  • Evaluate moderately complex business problems and provide technical assistance in identifying automated systems and related procedures that are cost effective and meet business requirements
  • Review and evaluate moderately complex technical business problems that can be resolved through internet or intranet based solutions
  • Present recommendations for resolving business problems
  • Exercise some independent judgment when developing project budgets, project plans, and schedules
  • Provide information about communication between business and technology teams
  • Work with business user groups to provide training, handle questions, observe user needs, and document results


Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Business Systems Data experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Provide technical support for middleware applications and services.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot middleware systems to ensure optimal performance and availability.
  • Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of middleware components.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define requirements.
  • Develop clear and concise user stories to capture business requirements and functional needs.
  • Ensure user stories are properly documented and maintained in the project management system.
  • Create and maintain detailed technical and process documentation.
  • Document middleware configurations, processes, and support procedures.
  • Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant teams.
  • Develop and execute test scripts to validate middleware functionality.
  • Work with QA teams to identify and resolve defects.
  • Ensure all test results are documented and communicated to the relevant stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 7 to 9 years of experience
  • Basic understanding of middleware technologies and their role in enterprise environments.
  • Experience in creating user stories and requirements documentation.
  • Familiarity with developing and executing test scripts.

  • Experience with specific middleware platforms (e.g., IBM WebSphere, Oracle Fusion Middleware, Apache Kafka) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
  • Basic understanding of software development and integration principles.
