In this role, you will:

  • Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact

  • Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines

  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs

  • Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors

  • Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives

  • Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals

  • Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualification

  • 8+ years of experience in developing enterprise software solutions.
  • Hands on experience in Java full stack development
  • Exp in Java Web Application Development, Spring (Core, MVC, Batch), Hibernate, SQL, & Oracle.
  • Java latest features and frameworks. System design knowledge of Java based applications.
  • Good understanding of Object-Oriented development, design patterns and microservices.
  • Hands on experience Core Java, Spring Boot, Apache TomCat, JAVA REST Micro services.
  • Good understanding of Dev Ops, CI/ CD pipeline and secured coding practices.
  • Demonstrate analytical, problem-solving and multi-tasking skills are required for the timely resolution of complex technical issues
  • Ability to assimilate new information, understand complex topics and arrive at robust designs
  • Should have good skills with build and deployment tools (Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, Udeploy)
  • Should be able to define and manage multiple application environments (SIT, QA, production, DR)
  • Will need to work with multiple teams to design and implement solutions – Infrastructure, Development, App Support, QA, DBA etc
  • Understanding of Capital Markets at least one of the asset class like fixed income, FX, commodities or equities will be good to have
