Lead Marketing Consultant - Commercial Banking Specialized Industries

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Marketing Consultant will be accountable for developing and implementing complex and data-driven marketing campaigns and thought leadership programs to drive business results for the Specialized Industries team within Commercial Banking. This position is required to lead, navigate, and collaborate across multiple lines of business, all industry segment groups and across Wells Fargo’s global enterprise. Additionally, this role will identify opportunities to enhance business credibility and brand reputation with all clients, prospects, employees and stakeholders. This role will report to the Chief Marketing Officer of Wells Fargo Commercial Banking.


In this role, you will:

  • Develop and implement the strategic marketing and brand plan in conjunction with the Commercial Banking Specialized Industries executive business leaders to support business growth priorities, retaining client relationships, and increase market penetration. 
  • Act as a champion for diversity and inclusion for client testimonials, channel mix, and media planning, cross enterprise communications.  
  • Develop targeted content strategy to elevate banker industry expertise with clients, prospects and stakeholders.
  • Develop and executes effective campaign measurement plans that propel strong business results. Tracks, analyzes, and optimizes results throughout the program.
  • Direct large scale, complex initiatives across Specialized Industries and collaborates across the Commercial Banking organization.
  • Adhere to the holistic marketing operational processes and marketing/brand policies.
  • Partner with cross-functional management to obtain resources, influence outcomes, and ensure alignment with Wells Fargo’s strategy/policies and business line objectives.
  • Monitor ongoing market and competitive activity and provide reporting to help drive decisions and improve program outcomes.
  • Seek outside industry knowledge and trends to help influence programs and business results.
  • Facilitate business and stakeholder meeting to gain objective alignments.
  • Effectively communicates program progress and mitigates risk issues.
  • Delivers innovative and creative marketing solutions that are differentiated from our competitors.
  • Coordinate the deployment of approved creative and targeting for paid media campaigns by working with internal partners from the different marketing teams.
  • Ensure adherence to Legal, Compliance and Privacy regulations and policies related to marketing.


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Marketing, Digital Marketing, Digital Platforms (i.e. Mobile or Social Media) experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • 5+ years content strategy and digital marketing experiences.
  • 2+ years Commercial Banking
  • 5+ years integrated campaign management experience (developing advertising, print, video, email, television, digital, and interactive assets).
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills; proven client service expertise required in order to create, maintain, and enhance strong relationships across the enterprise.
  • Extensive marketing project management experience managing marketing projects and meeting milestone deadlines with complex production schedules.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail and time management.
  • Flexibility and adaptability; able to problem-solve and handle multiple priorities at the same time.
  • Works well in a collaborative environment.
  • Displays a strong drive for results and is able to overcome challenges to deliver with superior quality.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills.
  • A BS/BA degree or higher.
