About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Software Engineer

In this role, you will:

  • Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
  • Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
  • Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors
  • Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
  • Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
  • Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of Software Engineering experience
  • Core Java, Spring Boot, Micro-services Architecture, Collections Framework, Java Streams, JPA, Junit 5, Mockito, Angular 9+ / React, Karma, Jasmine, any monitoring tool, PCF, Oracle, Design patterns, Oracle.
  • NoSQL DB, Kafka, Agile practices, DevOps tools.
  • Hands on experience in architecture and best practices.
  • Able to articulate underlying business problems and propose technical solutions.
  • Solid working experience in Core Java and JPA Hibernate development Skills.
  • Hands on experience in Micro-services Architecture
  • Solid understanding of Java 8 + with Streams API
  • Good working experience in developing REST API with JSON
  • Good amount of working experience in Angular, CSS 4, Typescript.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Web design patterns and front-end technologies like Spring & Spring Boot
  • Good understanding on cloud fundamentals on PCF, Azure
  • Hands on experience in unit testing and continuous integration environment
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to solicit & formalize requirements and work with the business partners and Stakeholders.
  • Experience with the agile development and DevOps tools.
  • Should have experience Postman, API testing and JMeter Scripts.

Job Expectations:

  • Candidate must be based out of either one of the locations - Hyderabad or Bangalore.
  • Will be required to work in the office as per organization’s In Office Adherence / Return to Office (RTO) at a minimum of 3 days per week.
