Senior Lead Business Growth Strategy Consultant

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Business Growth Strategy Consultant to join our team in Singapore to cover the largest portfolio in the GTM Banks Segments.


In this role, you will:

  • Primary contact and escalation point for product support in region for GTM Bank Segment TMCs
  • Support complex solutions discussions with clients; inclusive of complex needs assessment.
  • Plan and support periodic regional client trainings, seminars, webinars for client retention & GTM wallet share deepening.
  • Participate on deal team for GTM Asian Bank RfPs
  • Approve exception pricing in line with established guidelines caring for profitability & leveraging market & competitive knowledge
  • Identify market unique commercialization/growth opportunities and business cases (products and solution packaging)
  • Support product management on product development business case and product design (voice of client & market) to make product launch & commercialization successful.
  • Identify pilot clients for product pilot and launch activities in collaboration with regional TMC team
  • Create solution packaging, positioning and collateral for GTM Bank Asia product growth in line with GTM product growth strategy.
  • Collaborate in creation and local delivery of thought leadership, providing market view & lens on industry trends.
  • Represent Wells Fargo at local client events, seminars, industry events as GTM subject matter expert and feed industry, client and competitive trends back to GTM product & sales team as appropriate.
  • Train regional GTM Bank sales on new products, solutions, initiatives
    Identify opportunities to increase/grow margin
     

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Business Growth Strategy experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • 7+ years' experience Global Payments experience
  • Cash management experience
  • Expertise in cross border payments and correspondent banking- US Bank and around the world- sending payments
  • Expertise in traditional payment clearing and settlement
  • Expertise in SWIFT messaging and USD clearings- communication protocol used by the bank segment- bank clients use with one another
  • Working knowledge of emerging payment technologies and channels
  • Ability to have strategic discussions with both clients and internal stakeholders (product management, strategy, sales, operations) on solutions to meet client needs and business growth strategies in a specific client segment or across multiple client segments
  • Ability to create and articulate client solution requirements and business case to inform Global Treasury Management solution investment decisions
  • Ability to participate in and lead Global Treasury Management Industry discussions with peers and clients to inform solution, product, and strategy


Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel 20% of the time
