Led by Sarah Berwick, the Commercial and Corporate & Investment Banking Technology (CCIBT) group supports the Commercial Banking and Corporate & Investment Banking businesses as well as Payment Solutions, Capital Markets Services, Wholesale Digitization, and International Technology across the firm. This diverse portfolio of capabilities spans multiple technology disciplines and strategic innovations. CCIBT provides strategic, enterprise-wide technology capabilities and enabling services to our lines of business and management of the applications in terms of skills, stability, security, scalability, speed, and cost.

In this role, you will:
- Lead or participate in managing all installed systems and infrastructure, moderately complex application upgrades and vulnerability remediation efforts, within the Systems Operations functional area
- Lead team to meet moderately complex technical deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of technical process controls or standards
- Act independently as a liaison for the line of business in support of daily inquiries, problem and incident management, project delivery, and escalations by following established guidebooks
- Liaise with functional or operational managers to understand their current and future information needs and develop plans and schedules for integrating these needs into existing operations
- Recommend solutions to resolve technical issues and achieve highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability by automating platform activities to lower human intervention time on related tasks
- Review and analyze moderately complex operational support systems, application software, and system management tools to ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
- Facilitate discussions on preventative action, root cause analysis and resolutions with service management
- Share support responsibilities for critical applications and customer journeys including leading technical resolution of high priority incidents with cross-functional partners, remediation of issues, conducting of blameless post mortems, root cause analysis and introduce continuous improvement solving problems once and for all with the goal of no repeats.
- Introduce and mature the adoption of enterprise capabilities, tools, and innovation improving availability in a multi-cloud ecosystem by evolving observability, monitoring, logging, synthetic monitoring and chaos engineering.
- Collaborate with development teams to update business continuity plans and provide input on development of new and existing support guidebooks
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 5+ years of experience performing engineering and support tasks on Linux/Unix and Windows Servers
- 3 + years of experience supporting enterprise level complex applications and platforms in Production
- 5 + years of designing and building complex observability solutions leveraging industry standard toolset and or custom built solutions
- 5+ years working with configuration and monitoring technologies such as Ansible, Grafana, Elastic, Splunk, Prometheus.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience leading complex projects supporting site reliability engineering design, scaling, resilience, and system performance assessments for highly critical and regulated applications.
- An understanding of the regulatory, and professional standards for financial services technology.
Desired Qualifications:
- Excellent knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Shell, Perl) and SQL skills with relational database or Mongo DB
- Experience with various CI/CD and monitoring tools such as ITRS Geneos, Splunk, JIRA, Jenkins, Ansible etc.
- Previous experiences in a high-paced, demanding trading floor environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effective collaboration with trading desk and business partners.
