About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Execution Consultant - Strategic Planning
In this role, you will:
- Participate in a variety of assigned and ongoing business operations to ensure success in meeting business goals and objectives
- Identify opportunities for process improvement by conducting root cause testing of all compliance and business metrics
- Review and research strategies and action plans to establish effective processes while meeting performance metrics and policy expectations
- Lead support functions or operations for multiple business groups and contribute to large scale strategic initiatives.
- Ensure efficiency, quality, cost effectiveness of solutions, and pipeline management relating to assigned operations.
- Research moderately complex business, operational, and strategic initiatives that require analytical skills, basic knowledge of organizational strategy and Business Execution, and understanding of international business.
- Work independently to make recommendations for support function by providing support and leadership.
- Assist in the planning and execution of a variety of programs and initiatives that may include risk mitigation, efficiency, and customer experience.
- Collaborate and consult with team leaders in developing project plans, policies and procedures.
- Provide leadership in management of relationships and implementation of programs, services, and initiatives with cross functional business partners.
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Desired Qualifications:
- 4+ years of relevant experience in business strategy, business management, Finance, transformation & advisory
- Very strong written communicator, with excellent planning and/or program management skills, ability to create presentations for senior exec levels on initiatives, Programs and business reviews.
- Bachelors, M.A./M.Sc. College Degree or Higher in engineering, accounting, finance, economics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences.
- Very strong verbal and written communication skills
Job Expectations:
- Excellent oral communication and facilitation skills and a proven ability to present to senior leaders across a matrixed organization to create engagement and drive results.
- Work with Capacity Planning team for defining different metrics for newly onboarded teams, defining activities, conducting time standards (they are coordinating it not necessarily building the tool or doing analysis), training ops on how to interpret reports, training and rollout of Manual Data Entry Tool.
- Working closely with data, analytics, technology teams and SME’s across the business to solve issues.
- Shape solution designs which meets business needs as well as aligning to the broader strategic objectives.
- Strong analytical skills with business analysis experience or equivalent is required.
- Ability to run basic analysis on Reporting - Dashboard and Scorecard, MBR, business analysis.
- Build presentations and represent in stakeholders forum.
- Knowledge and understanding of financial-services/ banking-operations preferred.
- Ability to transform a business problem to a data problem is required.
- Previous experience in data commercialization will be advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Review and identify areas for improvement leading to operational efficiency, process optimization, and field acceleration working with various teams within the organization (operations, IT, leadership, etc.)
- Oversee the strategy, priorities, and business management.
- Drive strategic planning, priorities and OKRs.
- Participate in organization-wide, strategic, and tactical initiatives.
- Proactively manage day to day business office responsibilities like driving adherence to Risk & Compliance mandates, regular cadence on team build out & hiring updates etc.
- Working experience in Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
