Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in the Digital Technology and Innovation group which supports evolving digital platforms and enhances integration of the innovation pipeline into our customer-facing capabilities.
In this role, you will:
Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years of Java and Frontend experience including web/mobile development experience; including programming and developing web applications
- 4+ years working on Java, J2EE, JDK 17 features (functional interfaces, streams & lambda expressions)
- 3+ years of experience developing Web and Mobile (Android / iOS) applications using React, JavaScript and Java
- 2+ years of experience working with API Microservices
Desired Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience with SDLC tools and processes including GitHub, Jenkins, Antifactory, Sonar, Maven or Gradle
- 3+ years of SQL experience
- 2+ years of Agile experience
- 2+ years of MQ Series Messaging experience
- Working experience on Java EE using Spring MVC, API Web Services (RestFUL), JDBC, CDI, etc
- Good knowledge of object-oriented design and design patterns
- Testing experience using any of the packages like JUnit, TestNG, Selenium, Robotium, JMeter and Playwright(frontend)
- Experience with Static Testing tools like Coverity, FindBugs , PMD, CPD, CheckStyle, JSlint and Cobertura and integrate with SONAR Qube
- Working experience with JavaScript, JQuery, CSS3, HTML5 & additional tools/libraries like RequireJS, Bootstrap, Grunt, LESS with ADA Level3 test
- Knowledge of modern best practices for professional software development including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
- Knowledge on API Gateway (APIGEE or similar)
- Demonstrated ability to identify real-world user problems and build technology solutions to solve them
- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
