Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Systems Operations Engineer who can provide platform support for Commercial and Corporate & Investment Banking Technology (CCIBT) organization applications and technology infrastructure. In this role, you will:
- Lead or participate in managing all installed systems and infrastructure within the Systems Operations functional area
- Contribute in increasing system efficiencies and lowering the human intervention time on related tasks
- Review and analyze moderately complex operational support systems, application software, and system management tools to ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
- Work with vendors and other technical personnel for problem resolution
- Lead team to meet technical deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of technical process controls or standards
- Collaborate with vendors and other technical personnel to resolve technical issues and achieve highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, education
- 4+ years of application production support experience
- 3+ year of experience in one or a combination of the following: Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes or Docker
- 3+ years of experience with automation using PowerShell, Bash, or Python
- 3+ years Red Hat Linux or UNIX experience
- 3 + years of .Net or Java application development/support experience or a combination of both
- 3+ years development/support experience in one or a combination of the following: Oracle Coherence, Apache Ignite, GridGain or Hazelcast
- 2+ years of experience writing relational database queries for stored procedures, query optimization and performance tuning
- 2+ years of experience designing and managing Splunk, Elk, Grafana or Prometheus Dashboards and reports
Desired Qualifications:
- 3+ years of capital markets experience
- 3+ year of offshore application support process experience
- 2+ years of experience supporting complex enterprise wide information technology solutions
- Ability to interact with all levels of an organization, including management
- Experience communicating in both written and verbal formats with business partners and senior executive-level leaders
- Knowledge and understanding of application lifecycle, from design and development to testing, implementation and production support
- Knowledge and understanding of technology platform development including large scale technology in a capital markets environment
- Hands on experience capturing functional and non-functional requirements, caching data flow issue troubleshooting
- Documentation tools experience such as Visio, MS Word, Confluence, Excel, Splunk etc.
