About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Analytics Consultant.
This role (Business Analyst Technical) is for one of our CSBB - Business System & Transformation - CRM product (Data Delivery) scrum teams, who will support the evolution and implementation of key CSBB capabilities that transform the Wells Fargo banker and customer experience. In this role, you will be responsible for collaborating with our Product Management and line of business (LOB) partners and you will work closely with a Product Owner to deliver solutions via Agile methodology. To be successful in this role, you must be a strong team player with exceptional interpersonal and communications skills, someone who thrives as an independent contributor, yet is able to leverage the ecosystem to deliver solutions in a fast-paced and constantly evolving Product Delivery environment.
In this role, you will:
- Consult, review and research moderately complex business, operational, and technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable data factors
- Perform moderately complex data analysis to support and drive strategic initiatives and business needs
- Develop a deep understanding of technical systems and business processes to extract data driven insights while identifying opportunities for engineering enhancements
- Lead or participate on large cross group projects
- Mentor less experienced staff
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, external contractors, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Leverage a solid understanding of compliance and risk management requirements for supported area
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Salesforce Experience (CRM functionality and data models).
- Intermediate skill level (4+ years of experience) writing and modifying moderate to complex SQL statements.
- Proven ability to research complex data issues using SQL.
- Broad experience with Banking applications, products, technology architecture and systems integration experience in Consumer and Small Business Banking, Consumer Lending, and Wealth & Investment Management.
- Ability to partner with Technology and the Business to define and deliver solutions.
- Partners with business and technology teams to analyze, interpret, and document requirements for simple to moderate business problems and recommend comprehensive technology solutions.
- Ability to manage small to medium size projects or initiatives, from initiation through implementation.
- Exceptional problem solving/troubleshooting skills.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Solid creative and strategic thinking skills

Job Expectations:
- Requirements Gathering, Creation and Management of User Stories for cross functional teams, and Stakeholder Management.
- Experience using Agile principles, including planning, and estimating with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Works effectually and individually with technical and non-technical team members to translate/map the business requirement to technical user stories.
- Responsible for coordinating with other analysts and product owners to translate the business requirement into development user stories.
- Work closely with Product owners to gather and refine user stories for known sprints or prioritized items in product backlog.
- Strong communication skills, including prioritizing, problem solving and interpersonal relationship building.
- Research moderately complex business, operational, and strategic initiatives that require analytical skills, basic knowledge of banking strategy and product development.
- Partner & collaborate with stakeholders located both locally & globally in achieving shared business objectives & goals.
- Should be able to support the shift from 1:30 pm IST to 10:30 pm IST.
- Assist with program documentation of functional and technical changes, as applicable.
- Communicating issues identified and deliver status updates in a timely manner to business and technology stakeholders.
- Data Analysis and creation of Data Mapping Document
- Test Sample Data, understanding Data model.
- Functional System Design (FSD) and Data Dictionary Updates.
- Tools – Oracle SQL Developer/Toad, SQL Salesforce Developer Console, Excel/Access DB, Postman, OR (any similar tools).
