About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Risk Analytics Consultant.
In this role, you will:
- Lead or participate in moderately complex initiatives, and delivering insight and decision strategies within analytics andreporting, and contribute to large-scale planning related to Risk Analytics
- Review and analyze moderately complex data aggregation, forecasting, reporting, and programming models
- Be responsible for process production, data reconciliation, and model documentation in alignment with policy governance
- Resolve data, production, business modeling, and lead team to meet Risk Analytics deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of risk reporting policies, modeling strategies, procedures, regulatory requests, and compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, experienced managers, compliance, and technology to resolve modeling, forecasting, and production issues, and achieve analytic and reporting goals
- Lead projects, teams, and mentor less experienced staff
- Partner with cross enterprise risk analysts in development of common modeling strategies
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Good Understanding of any of decision systems like Zoot Webrule builder/ FICO DMP/ Experian Powercurve.
- Good understanding of any of decision systems and its components, data framework and its internal architecture of any of unsecured lending life cycle process like Acquisition/ Portfolio management/ Collections strategies.
- Basic understanding of decision systems interaction with other systems and involvement in end-to-end technical architecture for Credit card/ Personal loan.
- Good understanding of developing validation codes in SAS, SQL.
- Support Team to develop automation utilities to improve process, project efficiency using add on skills like VB Script, Microfocus UFT/ Selenium, UNIX Shell script.
- Good understanding of Agile framework. Actively participate in scrum ceremonies, team discussions. Support Teams to reach their goals.
- Understand different SOR systems and data flow architecture that populates data into risk DataMarts.
- Basic knowledge of credit risk strategies, segments, tables, and score cards.
- Good understanding of Testing concepts and type of testing like Unit, component, SIT, UAT, Regression testing.
- Support to Decision system development Team, Business analyst, Scrum Team. Understand requirement and perform various type of testing.
- Ownership of project end to end implementation in UAT and Production. monitor and validate strategies.
- Good understanding of strategy resolution/ reverse engineering of Applications/ Transactions in multiple platforms like internet application, Intranet Applications, Mainframe systems, Decision systems and Datamart/ Data sources.
- Conduct comprehensive analyses to assure timely monitoring of process efficacy and accuracy, minimizing credit/operating losses and reputation/ compliance risk exposure.
- Work collaboratively and effectively with technical partners, business partners and strategy experts to implement strategies, segmentation models and new technologies/tools.
- Deep dive into data and systems. Identify root cause for strategy decision’s deviations.
- Collaborate with various credit and product groups and external vendors to develop effective ways to manage new account decisions, leveraging best practices and new data/tools.
- Provide technical guidance and analytical direction to other analysts and directly work with partners, responsible for identifying and defining business requirements and translating business needs into moderately complex analyses and solutions.
- Ensures adherence to data management/data governance regulations and policies. Data involved may be very large, structured and from multiple sources.
- Be a Team Player and provide thought leadership on the projects, driving new ideas and identify opportunities.
