About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Treasury Finance Analyst to support the Portfolio & Analytic Control Unit (PACU) group. This role will be responsible for providing analytics, reporting and controls support for Collateral Management and Loan Pledging. This group is part of Global Funding & Collateral Management (GFCM) within Corporate Treasury and provides reporting, analytics, data governance, and controls to support other GFCM teams (Collateral Management Unit, Loan Pledging, Securitization Funding, Global Funding, and Multi-Currency Treasury).
Treasury covers jobs that manage funding, cash and liquidity, treasury operations and treasury risk management including the design and implementation of the processes, policies and procedures. Responsible for managing bank lines of credit, and the control and movement of the organization's cash and cash positions
In this role, you will:
- Prepare and review daily, weekly and monthly Enterprise-wide collateral reporting
- The buildout and strategic enhancement of business intelligence tools to be used for complex analysis and reporting (Use of Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Python, Excel etc..)
- Work with the CMU and collateral representatives from each Line of Business function to perform analysis of the firm's securities collateral for optimization and liquidity improvement opportunities
- Work with technology teams in an Agile project management format to continuously improve our data environment
- Ensure compliance with data governance requirement
- Support Enterprise Risk related programs such as RCSA, EBCE, IT&V, Internal Audit
- Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development
- Make decisions and resolve issues to meet business objectives
- Interpret policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Interact with internal customers
- Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Treasury experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to exercise independent judgment to identify and resolve problems
- Experience performing data analysis and reporting within a major financial institution
- Effectively present/ explain complex analysis
- Assist with enhancing and maintaining comprehensive process documentation
- Knowledge and understanding of securities collateral and treasury management
- Ability to communicate effectively with business partners and senior management
- Experience with SQL / Tableau / Power BI / Python
- Technical Skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
