About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Business Execution Consultant in COO as a part of Intelligent Automation team. This vital role will be responsible to evolve and expand automation portfolio and capabilities to meet our strategic objectives. The ideal candidate had robust experience of automation tools and leading Cross-LOB initiatives.
In this role, you will:
- Act as an advisor to Intelligent Automation leadership in driving intelligent automation strategy and portfolio
- Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and across functional projects (AI, Workflow, Robotics etc.) and unique challenges related to execution of the initiatives that require solid analytical skills, extensive knowledge of Business Execution, and understanding of business, delivering longer term and large scale solutions
- Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership for implementing innovative and significant business solutions including Case Management, Generative AI etc. that are large scale and cross organizational.
- Lead team meetings or steering committee to facilitate decision making and support implementation of recommendations and plans
- Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across multiple lines of businesses and serve as an experienced advisor to the leadership
- Ability to assess issues, make quick decisions, implement solutions, and influence change
- Providing cross product area or cross delivery team coordination and communication
- Gain expertise on existing automation application portfolio within the bank to ensure effective utilization of existing investment
Act as an advisor to Shared Services, Operational Excellence, and Intelligent Automation leadership in driving intelligent automation strategy and portfolio
Drive nextGen solution for the firm (e.g. GenAi use cases) to help improve customer and employees experience
Drive Hyperautomation use cases and mature towards intelligent operations
Continue to keep an eye on industry trends to identify net new automation and digitization tools which can help simplify and automate large and complex operational processes & business functions
Partner with technology, supply chain and vendors to bring in & make new and innovative products available to help solve net new automation and digitization use cases
Gain expertise on existing automation application portfolio within the bank to ensure effective utilization of existing investment.
Drive RFPs, POCs, tool evaluations etc. as needed
Build & present business cases to seek incremental funding for new tools, practices and capabilities to executive and sr. executive audience
Drive automation scaling and re-usability by identifying and publishing re-usable automation patterns and solution library
Drive automation community of practice across the firm
Partner closely with various LOBs, Enterprise Architects and Technology leadership to create the roadmap for advancement of key strategic automation capabilities and programs.
Partner with executive management across Wells Fargo to define the business automation strategy then create and execute corresponding business plans and initiative
Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges related to Business Execution that require solid analytical skills, extensive knowledge of Business Execution, and understanding of business, delivering longer term and large-scale solutions

Required Qualifications:
7+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Prior consulting background in Big4 consulting firm is preferred
Automation Experience – An individual with a solid foundation in utilization and advancement of automation tools and processes designed and utilized within Wells Fargo and/or across the financial services industry
Influencing Skills – Proven ability as an effective communicator in virtual matrixed environments. Proven ability to take complex business and technology problems and bring teams to consensus through collaborative architecture and design.
Strategic Thinking and Implementation – Thinks strategically about business problems, breaks down problems and presents solutions while evaluating the pros and cons of each option. Identify business opportunities by delivering thoughtful analysis and strong logical thinking. Thinks in new ways about problems and issues. Develops and implements creative solutions to business problems.
Financial Services Experience – The ideal candidate should have experience working within large Financial Services companies and across a variety of business lines, in particular within Wells Fargo.
