About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Execution Consultant
This role is within the I&P CIB Front Office COO Automation & Content Mgmt. group. This group is focused on building creative and dynamic solutions (leveraging tools like PowerBI, Alteryx etc.) across business lines, content management migrations & governance (ex. nCino, Documentum products). This individual contributor role would require the incumbent to be able to independently drive and execute document retention & maintenance, including set-up, migrations, and governance for tools such as Documentum. The individual is expected to proactively drive execution, highlight any potential derailers impacting business, and maintain SLA’s. Finally, the candidate will be expected to actively participate in global team discussions, projects/process enhancement plans and encourage creative thinking amongst the team.
In this role, you will:
- Participate in a variety of assigned and ongoing business operations to ensure success in meeting business goals and objectives
- Identify opportunities for process improvement by conducting root cause testing of all compliance and business metrics
- Determine areas of strength or Business Execution opportunity within defined scope of work
- Review and research strategies and action plans to establish effective processes while meeting performance metrics and policy expectations
- Utilize independent judgment to guide moderate risk deliverables
- Present recommendations to develop, implement, and monitor strategic approaches, effectiveness of support function, and business performance improvement opportunities for managing risks of the business
- Exercise independent judgment and provide guidance in diverse support functions and operations for a single business group within a line of business
- Collaborate and consult with leaders and executive management
- Provide work direction to less experienced Strategy and Execution staff
- The individual would be responsible for set-up, migrations, maintenance and governance of document retention in compliance with Wells Fargo policy & standards. This includes providing application support; reporting and highlighting key challenges and opportunities, potential impacts to delivery timelines, bottlenecks and control gaps. The role would require direct engagement with senior leaders across global COO teams.
Functional and technical skills:
- Demonstrates strong technical knowledge of content management platforms (ex. Documentum), and Lending tools (ex. nCino)
- Experience in executing key documentation related initiatives - including but not limited to risk/gap analysis of document retention policy standards, and closure of the same
- Able to collate migration/project plans in a presentable format, with timelines, gaps, and go/no-go decisions
- Able to lead discussions with product owners, with the aim to drive a collaborative discussion and drive solutions forward
Executive Communication:
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate with senior leaders across LOBs globally to create executive ready presentations, including presentation of information and data to persuade, educate, and drive solutions
- Drive complex issue management and deliverables into effective outcome-oriented conversations
- Institute sturdy communication channels with business partners to support and manage the delivery of the division’s strategic programs
Change mindset and collaboration:
- Collaborate on change initiatives across the division in a seamless manner; facilitate discussions with leaders and subject matter experts to investigate and solve complex problems
- Ability to think creatively with respect to driving seamless execution with potential automation and standardization ideas
- Assist in projects on data interfaces between systems such as defining project scope, data requirements and sources/resources and drive quality assurance across these projects
- Demonstrate a strong sense of personal ownership and accountability for self & team initiaitives
Risk & Control Mindset:
- Assess, review, manage and mitigate risk by measuring key risk indicators (KRIs) through developing and maintaining the key metrics for business support group
- Ensure operational practices follow relevant risk standards, policies and regulations to maintain an effective control environment
- Collaborate with operational risk teams to log and monitor Issues and Corrective Actions when incidents are identified
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Graduate degree
- 2 + years of experience in teams developing reporting dashboards, pre go-live checks and quality assurance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail
- Candidates should be able to work effectively in a demanding, fast-paced, dynamic environment, handling multiple tasks and projects concurrently, while maintaining quality, accuracy and integrity
- Candidates should have experience presenting information to persuade, educate, and enhance understanding at all levels with the ability to develop and negotiate solutions with partners or clients including escalations as needed
- Candidates should be able to work in a global team, interact at different levels and handle a wide range of deliverables with varying levels of complexities with focus on execution and result
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills to create persuasive PowerPoint presentations; Strong analytical skills leveraging Microsoft Excel/Access
- Experience in identifying and driving process improvements in complex environments
- Ability to effectively multi-task and successfully work on several unrelated projects at the same time
Timings: Late EMEA coverage (1:30pm login)
Work from Office: Minimum 60% weekly (i.e., atleast 3 days a week from office)
