CSBB Access Governance - Lead Business Execution Consultant

About the Role

The incumbent will a key part of the CSBB Access Management & Governance core team which is expected to establish a consistent approach for access provisioning and governance, including regular certification & reporting for CSBB owned applications. This is a new function being established as part of CSBB CAO. In this role the incumbent will perform a combination or all the following

  • Access Control and Governance
    • Participate and contribute to curation of a risk managed Access Governance framework for CSBB business applications/ platforms.
    • Oversee implementation Access Management & Governance Policies and Practices across a diverse set of user population. The role necessitates the ability to influence and promote adoption of new practices globally.
    • Continuous and ongoing review of access management practices prevalent across similar groups in order to identify best practices and improvise CSBB framework.
    • Establish and document appropriate procedures for CSBB Access Governance routines compliant with Identity & Access management policy of the firm.
    • Design and oversee periodic access reviews, recertifications & audits.
    • Design, implement and enable the onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring access entitlements are correctly provisioned and deprovisioned as needed.
  • Project planning and initiation
    • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
    • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets to meet the bank’s access management and governance needs.
    • Conduct risk assessments and identify potential obstacles, establishing mitigating strategies to ensure project success.
  • Project execution and monitoring
    • Oversee day-to-day execution of access management projects, ensuring timelines and milestones are met.
    • Track project performance, creating detailed reports on milestones, resource utilization, potential risk or delays. 
  • Stakeholder communication and collaboration
    • Serve as a primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress and addressing concerns if they arise.
    • Work closely with Access Management and Governance Team Lead to align project goals with team needs.
    • Facilitate regular project meetings and status reports to ensure all team members and stakeholders are informed.
  • Risk Management.
    • Identify potential access risks, mitigate, and develop preventive measures.
    • Conduct risk assessments related to access management and recommended improvements.
    • Stay updated with Industry standards, security best practices, and regulatory changes to mitigate potential risks.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

Desired Experience, Qualifications, Skills, and Other Attributes

  • Experience in designing and managing projects or steady state operation of similar nature in financial institutions. Proven track record with Identity & Access management or associated functions is an added advantage.
  • Ability to work effectively in a diverse team and engage across organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important.
  • Robust understanding of Information Security risk, best practices and regulatory expectation from banks & financial institutions.
  • Ability to analyze large data sets and create actionable data insights is critical. Experience of data management, analytics and data visualization will be an added advantage.
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision in a structured environment.
  • Ability to engage with global teams and drive execution of global process seamlessly and comfortably is critical to success in the role.
  • Ability to present and discuss information in a manner that persuades, educates, and enhances understanding at all levels.
  • Strong Leadership and communication skills are critical for success in this role
  • Significant experience working closely with senior and executive leadership.
  • Strong collaborator and empathetic listener who works with diverse groups to solicit multiple perspectives.
  • Possesses executive presence, high energy, ability to manage complexity and a broad scope of daily work activities and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, combined with strategic business focus and vision.
  • Ability to execute in a fast-paced, high-demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities.
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and sometimes work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.
  • Ability to translate and summarize complex data into understandable, actionable information and recommendations.
  • Proven change management & process improvement experience
  • Excellent written, verbal & inter-personnel communication skills
