About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Enterprise Risk Officer.


In this role, you will:

  • Act as an advisor to leadership to develop or influence enterprise risk, governance, reporting programs, plans, specifications, resources, and long term goals for highly complex business corporate governance risk programs and technical needs across multiple front lines with high risk for Enterprise Risk
  • Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges for governance and reporting programs companywide
  • Deliver solutions that are long term, large scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinking, and coordination of highly complex activities and guidance to others
  • Provide vision, direction and expertise to more experienced leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions that are large-scale cross functional or companywide strategies
  • Lead projects and mentor virtual teams, design, develop and deliver training
  • Guide and direct the organization in terms of policies, effectiveness of companywide initiative execution, and reporting to the Board
  • Engage and strategize with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise and serve as an expert advisor to leadership
  • Partner with managers to deliver risk reporting to executive management, committees, and Board of Directors and assists in development of actionable insights
  • Maintain internal partnership with the business and other business units, Audit, Legal, regulators, and industry partners on risk related topics
     

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Risk Management experience (Compliance, Financial Crimes, Operational Risk, Audit, Legal, Credit Risk, Market Risk, IT Systems Security, Business Process Management) or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Experience consulting and partnering with business executives, leadership, human resource partners, talent acquisition, and peers.
  • Experience with BPM Process Flows, BPMN, Standard Operating Procedures, working experience with tools such as iGrafx a plus.
  • Experience with Jira including Jira Service Desk. Experience in successfully managing cross functional projects & programs in scrum and kanban methodology a plus.
  • Experience with developing and consulting on recognition and employee engagement strategies.
  • Strong understanding of business processes, risk management principles, and governance frameworks.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and a strong sense of ownership.
  • An Analytical mindset and courage to challenge the status quo.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite including Visio. Proficient in Tableau and/or Power BI, SQL.

Job Expectation:

  • This role will be focused on executing strategic project plans, supporting workforce management needs for all SERM India, supporting oversight process and procedures, Access Management and KPI Reporting. 
  • Lead and support cross-functional complex programs and projects, ensuring successful delivery within defined timelines and requirements.
  • Consult with the business on corrective action plans and effectively manage change.
  • Assist in creating routine metrics reporting including automation through BI tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, and SQL.
  • Maintain and monitor SharePoint sites across SERM to ensure compliance with Records Retention guidelines and best practices.
  • Review/develop project plans, execute/monitor progress, manage to closure and provide regular status updates to stakeholders while maintaining required documentation.
  • Partner with members of the SERM SPG team to consult on hiring needs, monthly expenses, DE&I events, and supporting engagement within the SERM India team.
  • Engage business leaders and other key stakeholders as necessary. Proactively collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
  • Support change management communications and governance routines. Partner with other members of the Optimization team to support maturing our governance and control routines.
  • Execute proactive monitoring for user access and report exceptions.
  • Execute monthly control routines and develop control exception reporting.
  • Provide guidance to other team members on documentation standards, control framework and access management best practices.
  • Develop and maintain Visio process flows and procedures.
  • Plan and facilitate smooth migration of business processes as per defined policies and ensure a seamless transition, ensuring adherence to all GDE requirements and maintain appropriate documentation.
