In this role, you will:

  • Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
  • Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
  • Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors
  • Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
  • Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
  • Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Should have at least 5+ years of strong hands-on experience working on Varicent tool functional/configuration developer


Job Expectations:

  • Should have at least 5+ years of strong hands-on experience working on Varicent tool functional/configuration developer including but not limited to:•
  • Experience in leading initiatives - from conception till closure. Work as an SME by understanding the big picture of the overall incentive compensation ecosystem.
  • Experience in Incentive Compensation systems - Varicent configuration, integrations with up-stream and down-stream systems, parsing XML
  • Experience in implementing, maintaining, and testing new functionality in Varicent
  • Experience in building service connectors for real time integration with Third party applications. 
  • Experience with integrating multiple cloud applications like Workday, ServiceNow using Informatica intelligent cloud services 
  • Configure new processes
  • Analyzes business requirements, designs, and writes technical specifications to design or redesign incentive compensation solutions
  • Experience in understanding business/process, gathering requirements, elicitation,  requirement planning, writing unit test scenarios.
  • Knowledge on HCM Modules including Core HR, Compensation and Advanced Compensation. 
  • Should have strong Techno-Functional experience in Varicent
  • Knowledge in XML parsing, reading input flat files and other file types from SFTP folders and NDM.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are must
  • Self-directed and goal-oriented work style
  • Familiar with Agile Methodology, SDLC process, Release Management.
  • Perform business configuration of Varicent through configuration components (data, calculations, reports, business flows) 
  • Create and/or maintain the Varicent model (parameters tables, etc.)
  • Assist with managing reference data and payee information
  • Configure business calculations in Varicent
  • Build configurable process flows to support overall business process and approvals
  • Assist with creating and/or maintaining Varicent end-user reports and incentive admin views
  • Partner with Incentive Compensation Center Of Excellence incentive admins, Incentive Compensation Product Owner, and multiple product team members
  • Participate in requirements gathering sessions, review user stories, and user acceptance criteria
  • Assist with documentation to capture data flow diagrams, data definition documents, decision trees, logic diagrams, requirements documents, and user experience flows.
  • Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet business requirements
  • Apply knowledge of industry trends and technology to drive organizational change and position Wells Fargo for the future.
