About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Risk Asset Review Examination Specialist


In this role, you will:

  • Lead complex initiatives including those that are cross-functional with broad impact and act as key participant with audits and exams for Risk Asset Review Examination

  • Review and analyze complex opportunities for periodic examinations of each business

  • Ensure risk rating integrity, portfolio quality, completeness of loan documentation, credit policy adequacy, and adherence

  • Make decisions in complex and multi-faceted situations requiring strong understanding of regulations, policies and procedures that influence and lead Risk Asset Review Examination to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives

  • Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and mid-level to experienced managers to resolve issues and achieve deliverables


Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Risk Asset Review Examination experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Risk Asset Review Examination Specialist to review Commercial Underwriting transactions
  • Extensive experience in performing fundamental analysis of companies, to evaluate and grade their creditworthiness, based on a combination of financial statement analysis, business & industry analysis

  • Excellent knowledge of a wide range of wholesale lending products.

  • Experience in Investment banking, cashflow statement, credit risk rating, wholesale credit, risk, and fundamental research to prepare comprehensive credit notes for new lending transactions.

  • Lead complex initiatives including those that are cross-functional with broad impact and act as key participant with audits and exams for Risk Asset Review Examinations related to Commercial loans across the bank’s Wholesale divisions.

  • Masters in Business Administration (Finance) or Chartered Accountancy.
