About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior CIB Portfolio Coordinator
In this role, you will:
- Support performance of less experienced staff and overall effectiveness of CIB Portfolio Management
- Provide feedback and present ideas for improving or implementing processes and tools with functional area impact
- Perform complex administrative transactional and operational or customer support tasks
- Provide subject matter expertise and interpretation of procedures to less experienced staff
- Interpret and develop compliance requirements, policies and procedures for functions with moderate complexity within scope of responsibility
- Interact with immediate team, CIB Portfolio Management and internal peers outside work group on a wide range of information, as well as internal or external customers
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of CIB Portfolio Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Manage a workflow tool used by FFG team members to review and process communication (e.g., compliance reporting, funding requests, etc.) from clients
- Contribute to the team's overall portfolio management & surveillance activities
- Check specified websites on a recurring schedule to download financial statements
- Review clients’ financial statements and spread the financial statements accurately into standardized templates and system of records (SORs)
- Develop a good understanding of deal-specific adjustments of FFG portfolio. Review the covenant structure of FFG deals and update in the system of records (SORs). In case of any covenant breach, immediately liaise with the Deal Team for a quick resolution
- Be a point of contact for FFG's coverage bankers and members of the Collateral Management team for questions about the receipt of client information deliverables
- Review borrowing bases submitted by clients in connection with funding requests, collateral pool changes, and other periodic reporting requirements. Also review numbers reported by clients in excel files against those being tracked in an internal system
- Develop and maintain process guides / SOPs for key tasks to ensure there is clear documentation explaining how to complete reoccurring processes
- Training and mentoring junior colleagues along with reviewing their work
- Graduate or Master Degree in Accounting, Finance, Operations Research, Economics or CA Inter
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in the banking domain
- Strong communication skills – both verbal and written. Ability to clearly & concisely speak on complex topics
Desired Qualification:
- Experience using Excel to perform data analysis and as well as to organize/summarize/present data
- Strong attention to detail
- An ability to navigate and interpret loan legal documentation is preferred
- High level of personal motivation, strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively work across continents
- Ability to work as a team player in a dynamic, fast-paced, results-oriented, and collaborative work environment and juggle a variety of tasks (time management skills are important)
Hybrid working model:
No of days working from office in a week : 3 out of 5
Shift followed : 1:30 pm IST to 10:30 pm IST
