In this role, you will:

  • Participate in a variety of assigned and ongoing business operations to ensure success in meeting business goals and objectives
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement by conducting root cause testing of all compliance and business metrics
  • Determine areas of strength or Business Execution opportunity within defined scope of work
  • Review and research strategies and action plans to establish effective processes while meeting performance metrics and policy expectations
  • Utilize independent judgment to guide moderate risk deliverables
  • Present recommendations to develop, implement, and monitor strategic approaches, effectiveness of support function, and business performance improvement opportunities for managing risks of the business
  • Exercise independent judgment and provide guidance in diverse support functions and operations for a single business group within a line of business
  • Collaborate and consult with leaders and executive management
  • Provide work direction to less experienced Strategy and Execution staff


Required Qualifications, US:

  • 2+ years of Business Operations or Leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Job Expectations:

  • Manage the intake of all backfill staffing requests (RTS Entry) for the assigned Risk Area and aggregate weekly for Senior Leader Approval.  Move budgeted roles through the Hiring Process as they are prioritized for posting by obtaining Workday delegation access and job requirements and qualifications from Hiring Managers.  Identify incremental roles to the budget and ensure they are tracked to ensure Operating Committee (OC) approval before moving forward in the Recruiting process.
  • Maintain accurate data in RTS by making timely updates from the Staffing Pipeline files (Hiring Managers, Job titles, Comments, L4 Leader, Requisition numbers).
  • Use Workday Recruiting Reports to perform a reconciliation of new hire information and recruiting statuses within the required SLA on a weekly basis. Timely update all RTS records with status changes, requisition numbers, requisition posting date, recruiter name, etc.)
  • Ensure the Corporate Risk Location strategy is managed by tracking location exception requests and the approval/denial decisions as received.
  • Create job requisitions in Workday ensuring job descriptions and required qualifications are accurate based on information provided by Hiring Managers.
  • Perform Monthly Accounting Unit (AU) Reconciliations to ensure Headcount is in the correct AU for accurate headcount management, financial forecasting, service alignment, cost allocations, and efficient Move the Lines (MTL) process. Prepare reports of exceptions requiring research and resolution.
  • Research and resolve RTS data discrepancies identified from Data Quality processes and update RTS.  Partner with the Workforce Planning Consultants within Strategy Planning & Governance regarding any RTS discrepancies and the status of resolution.
  • Able to identify patterns and in data discrepancies and escalate process issues.
  • Navigate Enterprise procurement processes to place orders for equipment and obtain system access for new hires, transfers, or ad hoc requests.
  • Monitor group mailboxes for Risk BOLT and WPR. Respond to general inquiries, direct messages as appropriate, or escalate as needed.

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Execution Consultant to support the Planning & Operations team within Corporate Risk Strategy Planning & Governance.  The Planning & Operations teams is responsible for Workforce Planning and Business Operations & Logistics (BOLT) centralized processes.  Workforce Planning is responsible for ensuring that all hiring requests for Corporate Risk are properly tracked and categorized as approved roles within the annual financial budget, backfills for employees who have left Risk positions, or incremental adds not within the budget.  The Business Execution Consultant will support assigned Risk Areas by tracking resource requests in the Resource Tracking System (RTS) from intake to job requisition submission in Workday, while maintaining accurate statuses of requisitions as they progress through the hiring process.  BOLT is responsible for onboarding and offboarding activities for all resource types, which includes FTE, contractors, consultants, and interns.
