About Wells Fargo EGS (India) Private Limited

We are hiring for a position in Wells Fargo EGS (India) Private Limited. We are a critical component of the Wells Fargo strategy to leverage distinct advantages of a global environment.
Currently we are 12000+ strong team members with 3 locations (Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad) in India and 1 center in Manila.


Job Description:
The primary role of the Operational Risk Consultant position will be to support the EIT Global Delivery Risk function and the Global Delivery operational risk programs. A strong background in technology and operational risk management, and the ability to work across a large, complex and highly matrixed organization will be critical.
The selected candidate will focus on the following duties:
  • Manage complex technology business units and provides operational risk support for risk projects and initiatives
  • Design and develop assessment strategies, methodologies and analyses; evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of policies, procedures, processes, systems and internal controls; analyze business and/or system changes to determine impact, identify and assess operational risk issues and assigns risk ratings consistent with established policy standards
  • Report findings and develop business cases to influence senior management on the need for controls to mitigate risk
  • Coordinate production of periodic operational risk performance reports for senior management, including trend analysis and recommended mitigation strategies
  • Partner with EGS & EIT RM Compliance teams to support regulatory reviews, audits and other compliance activities as developed and defined
  • Manage complex business units and work with EGS & EIT RM risk partners to provide technology risk expertise and consulting during global technology projects and initiatives
  • Collaborate with corporate risk functions to ensure appropriate connectivity to corporate risk initiatives
  • Contribute to the development of the Global Risk Program framework methodologies and tools
Required Qualifications
  • Work experience:
  • ORC4: 8 – 10 years of overall experience with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in compliance, operational risk management, information security governance, technology policy implementation, control assessments or risk assessments in a multinational financial institution or similar
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Exposure to global delivery model
  • Certified IT Risk Professional (CRISC), Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM), Certification in Control Self-Assessment (CCSA), Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT) or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
