The Software Engineer will participate in projects associated with the technology domain, including installation, upgrades, and deployment efforts. Identify opportunity for service quality and availability within the technology domain environment.  Review and analyze technical assignments or challenges that are related to low to medium risk deliverables and that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternative technology domains.  Present recommendations for resolving issues or may escalate issues as needed to meet established service level agreements. Exercise independent judgment while also developing understanding of given technology domain in reference to security and compliance requirements. Collaborate and consult with technology colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders

Consumer Technology Home Lending – Correspondent (Des Moines, IA; Chandler, AZ; Phoenix, AZ; Charlotte, NC) the Software Engineer is responsible for the design, development, testing, documentation, and analysis of general modules or features of new or upgraded software systems and products. They will help identify opportunity for service quality and availability within the technology domain environment. Review and analyze technical assignments or challenges that are related to low to medium risk deliverables and that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternative technology domains. Contribute to large scale planning of strategies. Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments. Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures. Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients’ needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements. Wealth & Investment Management Technology Investment Solutions (WIMT) (Charlotte, NC; New York, NY; St. Louis, MO) This Software Engineer will sit within the Portfolio Management Platform (PMP) group in WIMT. This role will be part of an agile team working on some exciting technology within WIMT. The teams use combinations of Java, Angular, Kafka, MongoDB and combine them with modern engineering practices. Enterprise Functions Technology Team (New York, NY; Addison, TX; Chicago, IL) This Infrastructure Engineer will lead complex initiatives to develop infrastructure to provide solutions for business applications. Participate in various projects intended to continually improve or upgrade the infrastructure. Evaluate internal and external software solutions which could be leveraged to meet target state architecture goals. Review and analyze high impact outages to ensure the proper processes and procedures are in place to avoid problems in the future. ​Technology Chief Operating Office (Charlotte, NC; New York, NY; Minneapolis, MN; Irving, TX) This Infrastructure Engineer functions as an Application Support Engineer, provides support for Customer Data Strategy and Cross-Domain Analytics & Services business areas. Part of a global team that monitors a suite of ~50 applications round the clock. The team provides application support services including incident management, problem management, event management, and request fulfilment.

  • Autosys (or other scheduler)

IT Services Team (New York, NY; Des Moines, IA; Minneapolis, MN; St. Louis, MO; Chandler, AZ; CA; Tempe, AZ) This team runs service operations for technology infrastructure and IT Service management. The Systems Operations Engineer will lead complex, broad impact initiatives including provision of high level systems consultation for the technology teams. Work as key participant in large scale planning of computer systems and network infrastructure for Systems Operations functional area. Review and analyze complex technical challenges, as well as escalated support issues related to core business solutions that require in depth evaluation of multiple factors, such as alternatives, enhancements, periodic systems reviews, or improvements to existing systems. Make decisions on technical changes and enhancements. Consult with engineering team on change design requiring solid understanding of technical process controls or standards that influence and drive new initiatives. Collaborate and consult with technical peers, colleagues, and mid to more experienced level managers to resolve systems support issues and achieve goals

IT Services Team (New York, NY; Des Moines, IA; Minneapolis, MN; St. Louis, MO; Chandler, AZ; CA; Tempe, AZ) This team runs the operations for technology infrastructure and technology product management.  Guide complex technology projects with broad impact for the business.  This Technology Operations Analyst role will act as key participant in the plan development for Technology Operations. Analyze complex technical operations challenges which require in-depth evaluation. Conduct research and create reports and presentations on findings. Lead the development of process and operational improvements. Be the liaison with the onshore team and ensure communication and reporting of delivery from the offshore team. Ensure quality and security of the solutions and address remediation as needed. Champion continuous improvement, including devising new strategies and new opportunities. Set performance standards for the team and ensure operations achieve or exceed performance metrics. Direct the daily Risk and Control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures, and work standards to ensure success; re-engineering and driving continual service improvement. Make decisions based on the understanding of the requirements that influence projects. Lead teams to meet deadlines and drive new initiatives. Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of work experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Rejoining the workforce after taking a current career break of 2+ years
  • 7+ years of prior professional technology experience
  • A BS/BA degree or higher
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Advanced MS Office, including Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook
  • Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members
  • Willing to learn multiple platforms and support multiple applications

Job Expectations:

  • Must be able to attend full duration of 8-week internship program working hybrid in office a minimum of 3 days per week from September 12- November 4 with an anticipated promotion for those successful in internship to full-time roles the week of November 7
