* Wells Fargo recently announced the sale of Wells Fargo Asset Management to GTCR LLC and Reverence Capital Partners, L.P. The sale is expected to close in the second half of 2021. We are continuing to recruit for open positions supporting Asset Management, but want to ensure you are aware that when the sale closes this position will be transferred to the new company. If you begin working at Wells Fargo, you should expect to transfer with the sale to the new company, with similar employment terms and conditions following your Wells Fargo start date.
The role requires directly calling on institutions providing investment solutions for assets on their balance sheets. This includes targeting cash, excess operating reserves, capital market proceeds (IPO, bond proceeds), self/captive insurance pools and other on balance sheet cash pools. Additionally, full coverage of the territory will include some proactive calling including targeting new monies raised. Contacts to call on include titles such as CFO, Director of Finance, and Treasurer.
This individual will lead broad sales initiatives with institutional investor prospects and/or clients in a predetermined territory that will encompass the Midwest. They will effectively assess institutional client needs and coordinates efforts to deliver the appropriate investment solution. Additionally, this individual will provide guidance to other staff. May assist in developing and launching new investment strategies.
There will be one position covering the Midwest. The ideal location is Chicago although we are open to other locations with the new hiring being willing and able to travel to the Midwest territory up to 75% of the time.
