The Regulatory Reporting consultant reports into the Regulatory Reporting Manager and is responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of Regulatory returns into the Central Bank of Ireland, in line with Regulatory Guidance and local WFBI policies and procedures

Responsibilities

  • Prepare assigned Regulatory Returns for internal review prior to submission to the Central Bank of Ireland
  • Prepare internal reporting for monitoring of Regulatory ratios
  • Ensure the accuracy and timely preparation of data into the Central Bank of Ireland
  • Prepare and maintain accurate and up to date documentation, including data flow, desk top procedures and associated controls for the Regulatory Reporting team
  • Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of key daily Liquidity Ratio for internal monitoring purposes
  • Contribute to the continuous development and maintenance of a strong control environment
  • Contribute to the automation initiatives of existing process
  • Maintain strong collaborative relationships with business partners
  • Ad hoc requests as required

Skills and requirements

  • Understanding of CBI banking regulatory reporting rules and requirements
  • Ability to work in a team environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong excel and data management skills
  • Knowledge of banking and financial services Industry
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience required
  • Strong communication and Interpersonal skills
  • Ability to operate and manage multiple priorities and deliverables
