About the Role


The objective of a collections Supervisor is to assist our customers be financially stable by providing payment options that will help their accounts be current. Specialists are empowered to provide specific payment programs to negotiate for full payment or create terms of payment with customers. Specialists should adhere to operational, procedural, and regulatory laws and processes.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for day-to-day supervision of staff responding to inquiries, complaints and disputes from Customers
  • Monitors performance of staff members according to established standards and conducts performance evaluations
  • Sets performance standards by training and coaching staff
  • Plans, directs, supervises and evaluates work flow, and coordinates work activities to achieve the volume expected to meet operational requirements
  • Analyzes and recommends operational improvements and completing projects as assigned
  • Responsible for day-to-day application of policies and procedures
  • May make hiring decisions
  • Oversee transition or OJT for new hire classes
  • Mentor new supervisors who recently joined the LOB
 
  • Must be a college graduate / Bachelor's degree holder
  • 4 yrs in customer service, at least 3 yrs handling collections campaign
  • Knowledge of bank regulations/compliance, policies, process and procedures
  • Collections background with knowledge in pre-charge to charge off delinquency
