About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Control Management Specialist...


In this role, you will:

  • Participate in identifying, assessing, managing, and mitigating current and emerging risk exposures within Control Management functional area
  • Provide risk management consulting to support the business in designing and implementing risk mitigation strategies, business processes, and business controls
  • Monitor moderately complex business specific programs and provide risk management consulting to support the business in designing and implementing risk mitigation strategies
  • Monitor, measure, evaluate, and report on the impact of decisions and controls to the relevant business group or functional area
  • Provide guidance to business groups on the development, implementation, and monitoring of business specific programs to identify, assess, and mitigate risk
  • Collaborate with relevant business group to identify current and emerging risks associated with business activities and operations


Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of SQL database management (database structuring, performance, maintenance)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Advanced Tableau skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to research and analyze data
  • Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment


Job Expectations:

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint skills, ie experience building/telling a story with data and PowerPoint
  • Executive reporting experience - preparing business documents/presentations for upper management
  • Experience analyzing and interpreting issue management data
  • Experience monitoring data daily and escalating changes as required
  • Ability to create or modify Tableau solutions with basic to intermediate complexity
  • Experience with streamlining report preparation processes
  • Experience Reconciling Data
  • Understanding of Issue management lifecycle (how issues flow through the process) desired
