The Corporate & Investment Banking MBA Diversity Fellowship is designed for top diverse MBA talent interested in Investment Banking. The program is reflective of Wells Fargo's commitment to building and sustaining a diverse and inclusive culture, as outlined in our Vision, Values, & Goals. The fellowship is designed to be a best-in-class program to pipeline high-potential underrepresented candidates into our Investment Banking Summer Associate Program, including female, Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino, Native American/Alaskan Native and LGBTQIA students, as well as military veterans and students with disabilities. Eligible candidates will begin a full-time MBA program in the fall of 2019 and be available for a summer internship of 2020. Successful applicants will have a history of academic and/or professional achievement and a demonstrated interested in pursuing an Investment Banking career.
What is included in the fellowship?
The fellowship offers recipients $30,000 towards their 1st year MBA program upon receiving and accepting an offer for the Summer Associate Investment Banking internship. Recipients of the first year fellowship award also may be eligible to receive an additional second year fellowship award in the amount of $30,000 if: they successfully complete the 2020 Summer Associate Investment Banking internship, they receive and accept a full-time offer of employment with Wells Fargo, and they meet the employment requirements and other terms and conditions of the second year fellowship award opportunity.
Note: If you currently have or later receive financial awards that cover 80% or more of your MBA program tuition, the fellowship award opportunity available to you will be reduced from $30,000 to $15,000 for the first year, and any potential second year award will also be reduced to $15,000. You must advise Wells Fargo of any other financial awards that you currently have or later receive for your MBA program.
The MBA Diversity Fellowship is an opportunity provided to those in attendance at the MBA Diversity Summit or MBA Women's Forum. You'll be asked to include an essay following prompts: Leadership and Diversity & Inclusion are two of Wells Fargo's values. Wells Fargo believes that leaders learn from each other. Please respond to the following questions (please limit your essay responses to no more than 300 words total):

Applying to the MBA Diversity Summit? Submit your Fellowship essay along with your Diversity Summit application, resume and essay by 11:59pm EST on Sunday, August 18, 2019.
Applying to the MBA Women's Forum? Submit your Fellowship essay along with your Women's Forum application, resume and essay by 11:59pm EST on Sunday, October 13, 2019.
Please note: To be eligible to interview for the MBA Diversity Fellowship, you must be in attendance at either the MBA Diversity Summit or MBA Women's Forum AND receive an offer for the 2020 Summer Associate Program based on interviews conducted during these events. There will be no outside opportunities to interview.
