Client Associates support our Financial Advisors (FAs) by providing account information and quotes; establishing new accounts, entering FA-approved security order tickets, and processing deliveries and payments. They also perform various administrative functions for the FAs and branch management including typing correspondence, forms, and reports, and preparing FA-directed marketing campaigns. Additional duties include handling telephone calls, responding to requests for research reports, and researching account inquiries. Client Associates play an important role by establishing and maintaining files to meet regulatory requirements, creating and producing reports and databases, and establishing and maintaining filing and recordkeeping necessary to support efforts to service and grow client relationships.

Associate Financial Advisors (AFAs) participate in the Wells Fargo Advisors financial advisor training program on a fulltime basis and will be partnered with a senior financial advisor. Qualified candidates enter a comprehensive development and apprenticeship period offering a structured and supportive program designed to reward individual and team contributions while meeting personal, professional and organizational client service and financial goals. The AFA will be fully trained and supported with tools, resources, and coaching to serve as an apprentice to a senior financial advisor while providing clients with financial advice consistent with client goals and risk tolerance. The AFA will meet with clients, collect financial information, assess investment profiles and evaluate client financial needs while providing enhanced service to deepen the relationship. The AFA will work to retain and increase existing client accounts (through developing financial plans and other needs-based solutions) and cultivate new clients over time. The AFA will gain more responsibility as experience increases and will transition from client service to relationship management and ownership. ASAs must complete online training, participate in classroom training, pass Compliance exams on products and suitability, and complete the activity requirements of the program.
Financial Relationship Advisor
Financial Relationship Advisors (FRAs) participate in the Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Relationship Advisor Training Program on a full-time basis. They are fully trained and supported with the tools and resources needed to serve as an advisor to clients, provide sound financial advice and counsel consistent with client goals and risk tolerance. FRAs must pass the Series 7 exam, the Series 66 (or combined 63 and 65), complete online training, participate in classroom training, pass compliance exams on products and suitability, and complete all activity requirements of the program. After the full-time structured training program has been successfully completed, team members will enter our FRA Graduate Program.

The Financial Advisor in Training will receive training on the WBS partnership model and partnership expectations within both Wealth and the Community Bank. Financial Advisors in Training must pass the Series 7 exam, the Series 66 (or combined 63 and 65), complete online training, participate in classroom training, pass compliance exams on products and suitability, and complete the activity requirements of the program as preparation for becoming a full-time financial advisor.
