About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Execution Consultant.


In this role, you will:

  • Participate in a variety of assigned and ongoing business operations to ensure success in meeting business goals and objectives
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement by conducting root cause testing of all compliance and business metrics
  • Determine areas of strength or Business Execution opportunity within defined scope of work
  • Review and research strategies and action plans to establish effective processes while meeting performance metrics and policy expectations
  • Utilize independent judgment to guide moderate risk deliverables
  • Present recommendations to develop, implement, and monitor strategic approaches, effectiveness of support function, and business performance improvement opportunities for managing risks of the business
  • Exercise independent judgment and provide guidance in diverse support functions and operations for a single business group within a line of business
  • Collaborate and consult with leaders and executive management
  • Provide work direction to less experienced Strategy and Execution staff


Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • 2+ years in business execution, operations, and/or project management roles.
  • Proven experience leading medium-scale initiatives and managing cross-functional projects.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and change management principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams in a matrix environment and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for executive-level reporting and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA), AI-enabled analytics platforms, and MS Office Suite.
  • Drive support functions and operations across multiple business groups, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and contributing to large-scale strategic initiatives.
  • Oversee basic end-to-end project management, including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, risk mitigation, and change management deliverables, while ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
  • Leverage AI-driven tools and analytics to assess complex business, operational, and strategic initiatives, identify efficiency opportunities, and recommend cost-effective, data-driven solutions.
  • Partners with team leaders, stakeholders, and cross-functional business partners to develop project plans, policies, and engagement strategies that integrate AI capabilities for improved outcomes.
  • As applicable, lead matrix management functional groups, ensuring effective communication, escalation strategies, and resolution of complex issues in highly ambiguous environments, while promoting AI adoption for process automation and decision support.
  • As applicable, manage basic program/project financials, issue and risk adaptation while driving initiatives that enhance customer experience, operational efficiency, and adherence to governance standards through AI-enabled insights.
  • Familiarity with AI concepts, machine learning basics, and their application in business process optimization.
  • Nice to have: Experience using AI-powered tools for data analysis, forecasting, and automation (e.g., Power BI with AI features, Tableau, or similar platforms).
  • Nice to have: Ability to interpret datasets, apply predictive analytics, and leverage AI insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Good to have: PMI-PMP, Prince-2, Scrum Master, Product Owner, Lean Six Sigma, AI for Business Strategy, and/or Data Analytics certifications.
