About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking an Index Flow Derivatives Trader focusing mainly on US indices and corresponding ETF's for the Equity Derivatives Group. Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com.
In this role, you will:
Be responsible for modeling, quoting, trading, and risk-managing vanilla and light exotic Index/ETF derivatives. This candidate should be experienced in index option market making and risk management with a specific focus on the S&P 500, Russell 2000 and Nasdaq 100 indices and their corresponding ETF's . The candidate will work closely with other derivative and cash traders and various equity sales traders as well as internal technology and quant partners. The ideal candidate is required to price, execute and risk manage index flow options for institutional and hedge fund customers. The candidate must have deep customer relationships and the ability to work across all equity derivative products. The role requires collaboration with derivative sales for innovative trade idea generation for our customer base.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of Securities Trading experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
A BS/BA or higher
5+ years of index derivative trading experience on a flow desk with NASDAQ, S&P and Russell focus
5+ years of experience trading US listed Index Derivatives
Strong customer and institutional trading relationships
Strong broker relationships
Experience working with support partners, tech and quant teams
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment
Job Expectations:
Registration for FINRA Series 7 must be completed within 180 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
Registration for FINRA Series 63 must be completed within 180 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
Registration for FINRA Series 57 must be completed within 180 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
Registration for FINRA Series 3 must be completed within 180 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
