About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant to join the Cards & Personal Lending (CPL) Change Management team. This Lead‑level role provides senior leadership across complex, high‑impact change initiatives supporting both Cards and Personal Lending, during a period of continued scope expansion and deeper integration with product, technology, and operational partners.

The role owns foundational operational and governance capabilities that enable consistent, efficient, and scalable change execution across the CPL portfolio. The team is actively onboarding additional business groups and managing both “Big C” and “Little C” change, increasing the need for disciplined intake, prioritization, governance, and execution.

The ideal candidate is a self‑starter who thrives in ambiguity, operates independently without heavy direction, builds strong relationships across all levels of the organization, and brings a pragmatic, execution‑focused mindset to change management.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and oversee complex, cross‑functional change initiatives across Cards and Personal Lending, ensuring alignment to business strategy, enterprise priorities, and regulatory requirements
  • Serve as a senior relationship manager and primary point of contact for assigned Cards and Personal Lending stakeholders, building credibility from working teams through executive leadership
  • Drive disciplined end‑to‑end change execution
  • Own and evolve change governance and operating processes, including mailbox governance, SLAs, artifact inventories, and change documentation standards
  • Translate complex, ambiguous, or highly technical change impacts into clear, concise, executive‑ready written and verbal communications; adjust messaging based on audience
  • Facilitate leadership forums, working sessions, and issue resolution discussions to drive alignment, decision‑making, and execution progress
  • Proactively identify risks, conflicts, interdependencies, and constraints, escalating with data‑driven insights and actionable recommendations
  • Influence decision‑making without direct authority by framing options, assessing downstream impacts, and recommending paths forward
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by simplifying, streamlining, and operationalizing change management frameworks, tools, and knowledge assets
  • Provide guidance and informal mentorship to less experienced team members, strengthening overall change management maturity
  • Balance strategic oversight with hands‑on execution in a fast‑paced, high‑volume change environment

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated success leading and influencing across multiple lines of business and enterprise functions without direct authority
  • Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to establish trust quickly and work effectively across executive and delivery levels
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing executive‑level materials and facilitating discussions
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and navigate evolving priorities with minimal direction or micromanagement
  • Strong multi‑tasking, prioritization, and time‑management capabilities in a high‑volume environment
  • Experience managing change impacts, risks, dependencies, and readiness across business, technology, and operations
  • Sound judgment and structured problem‑solving skills in moderately to highly complex situations
  • Familiarity with Change Management, Change Implementation, or execution governance frameworks
  • Experience in Cards, Consumer Lending, or Financial Services environments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
