About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Wealth Underwriter.

In this role, you will:

Participate in low to moderately complex Wealth Underwriting initiatives in support of high-net-worth portfolio management; identify opportunities for process improvement within scope of responsibilities

Review, analyze, and evaluate borrower financial data for basic high-net-worth client loans that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives to determine credit worthiness; exercise independent judgement to monitor existing portfolio and identify medium risk issues

Present recommendations for resolving low to moderately complex situations and exercise independent judgment while developing expertise of Wealth Underwriting functional area policies, procedures, regulations, and compliance requirements

Develop basic understanding of Home Lending policies, procedures, regulations, and compliance requirements for Wealth Investment Management client mortgages as needed

Collaborate and consult with Wealth Underwriting peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

Adhere to credit risk management decisions to ensure satisfactory credit portfolio risk examinations

Required Qualifications:

2+ years of Wealth Underwriting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
