About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Analytic Consultant to join our growing Marketing Science team as part of Consumer Banking and Lending (CBL).
You will help to empower multiple stakeholders across Marketing Strategy & Analytics teams with timely, reliable, and actionable curated data to support business reporting and marketing research.
An ideal candidate has strong technical skills in SQL, data engineering, and related areas, with the ability to own large data initiatives. Experience interpreting business requirements and partnering with marketing stakeholders is a plus.

In this role, you will:
- Consult, review and research moderately complex business, operational, and technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of data pipelines, data quality, and business stakeholder requirements.
- Perform moderately complex data analysis to support business stakeholders and assist with strategic marketing initiatives
- Develop a deep understanding of technical systems and business processes to extract data driven insights while identifying opportunities for engineering enhancements
- Lead technical discussions and participate on cross-functional teams and projects
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Ensure quality of data products through developing appropriate controls and checks for data anomalies
- Adhere to compliance and risk management requirements in work processes
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field
Desired Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform / BigQuery, Python, SAS, Tableau, Alteryx, and PowerBI is a plus
- Prior Marketing experience in financial services is a plus
- Experience evaluating and improving data pipelines, including identifying data quality issues and implementing fixes
- Strong data quality management skills, including building controls, validation checks, and monitoring for anomalies
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical data solutions and analytical outputs
- Experience working with large, complex datasets to support business decision-making and marketing strategy
- Ability to identify and drive data engineering enhancements or process improvements
- Experience leading or facilitating technical discussions across cross-functional teams
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including working with mid-level managers to resolve issues and align on priorities
- Knowledge of compliance and risk management considerations when working with data in a regulated environment
- Ability to document data processes, lineage, and business logic clearly for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated ownership of end-to-end data or analytics initiatives
