About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lending Operations Senior Manager


In this role, you will:

  • Manage and develop large Loan Production, Loan Servicing, and Commercial or Real Estate Construction Loan teams responsible for loan processing, documentation, pre-closing or closing tasks, loan monitoring, loan servicing, or underwriting activities
  • Engage and influence stakeholders, internal partners, and peers associated with the Lending Operations functional area
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development within Lending Operations functional area
  • Participate in the formulation and implementation of new and revised systems, policies, and guidelines
  • Oversee implementation of practices to ensure compliance with Wells Fargo legal, investor, regulatory, or business policies
  • Determine appropriate strategies and actions of Lending Operations team to meet moderate to high risk deliverables
  • Interpret and develop policies and procedures for meeting compliance, risk management, and quality standards
  • Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals, including experienced managers
  • Interact with external customers throughout the conducting of loan processing and liquidations evaluation
  • Provide quality customer service
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Lending Operations
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy


Required Qualifications:

  • 14+ years of Transactions and Processing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years of management or leadership experience


Required Qualifications for Europe, Middle East & Africa only:

  • Experience in Transactions and Processing, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, education
  • Management or leadership experience


Desired Qualifications:

  • 14+ years of experience in Lending & Loan Operation
  • Strong analytical skills; comfortable with metrics, dashboards, and forecasting.
  • Have agenda driven relationship with stakeholders
  • Manage operational performance against SLAs, TAT, accuracy, and controls; run daily/weekly dashboards and performance reviews.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Lending/Loan Operations; experience in Commercial, Wholesale banking
  • Hands‑on with automation/RPA/process mining and continuous improvement frameworks.
  • Exposure to global operations and matrix organizations.

Job Expectations:

  • Own end‑to‑end [Commercial/Wholesale Banking, Lending-Loan Operation], driving improvements in KPIs
  • Strong understanding of commercial loan documentation package and lifecycle: Credit Agreement, Commitment Letter, Term Sheet, Facility Letters, Amendment/Restatement, Waivers/Consents, Fee Letters, Conditions Precedent checklists.
  • Ability to interpret credit terms and ensure document alignment to approved credit (pricing, covenants, collateral, conditions, borrower/guarantor structure).
  • Lead a team of 20+ to deliver Loan On-boarding & Servicing across [regions/markets].
  • Establish and optimize SOPs, SLAs, and quality standards
  • Partner with Product/Sales/Business Excellence to deliver process efficiency & digitalize manual effort.
  • Use data to monitor performance, run root‑cause analyses, and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage vendor/partner relationships including contracts, governance, and performance reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with RCSA/Control requirements and company policies. Own & adhere and manage the Internal/External and other several Audit walkthroughs and discussion.
